Yes, with conditions. Mint Mobile’s 10-year anniversary promotion, which began October 8, 2026, lets new Mint customers buy six months of any six-month Mint plan, including Unlimited, for $60 paid upfront. That works out to $10 per month before taxes and fees. The low rate covers only the first six months, and Mint’s official pages describe the offer as limited time without giving a closing date.
What you actually pay
The $60 is a single upfront payment that covers six months of service. The “$10 per month” figure is an average you can compare against regular pricing, not a monthly bill. Taxes and fees are charged on top of the $60. Mint’s newsroom announcement from T-Mobile, dated October 8, 2026, describes the same structure: six months of any plan, Unlimited included, at $10 per month, with $60 due upfront.

Who qualifies
Mint describes the promotion as available only to new Mint customers. Its help page does not spell out every edge case, such as how the offer treats people who have had Mint service before. If you are a current or former Mint customer and the eligibility question matters to you, check the offer terms during checkout before you pay.

The official announcement lists four plans: the 6GB, 17GB, 23GB, and Unlimited plans. Each is sold on the same six-month, $60-upfront structure. The plans differ in data allowance and in the conditions attached to heavy use, so choose based on how much data you normally use rather than on the headline price alone.

How to activate after you buy
- Complete the purchase of your six-month plan on Mint’s anniversary offer page.
- Activate your SIM within 45 days of purchase. Mint’s help page sets this window.
- When activating, choose whether to port your existing number to Mint or to take a new number.
Because the window is 45 days, avoid buying far ahead of when you need service, especially if you are waiting on a new phone or a port from another carrier.
What happens after six months
The $10-per-month rate applies to the first six months only. It is not a permanent price. When the term ends, Mint says you can renew for 3, 6, or 12 months on an available plan. The sources reviewed do not establish what a renewal will cost for any individual customer, so do not assume the $10-equivalent rate carries over.

Changing plans during the six months has its own consequence. If you switch plans before the term ends, Mint says you cannot keep the promotional $10-per-month rate. Mint states that the promotion falls under its existing Plans Return Policy. The detailed conditions of that policy are not described in the promotion materials, so read the policy itself before you decide to switch.

Unlimited fine print
Unlimited is included, but its footnote adds conditions that the headline does not show. Mint says that Unlimited customers who use more than 50GB in a single month may see reduced speeds for the rest of that monthly cycle in certain locations when the network is busy. These figures are Mint’s published terms, not independent speed measurements, so the real-world effect depends on where you live and when you use data.

The offer includes up to 20GB of hotspot data and SD-quality video streaming. Mint’s materials do not describe any higher video quality tier within this promotion, so heavy streamers who expect HD or 4K should confirm the stated limits before buying.
How long the sale lasts
Mint’s official pages call this a limited-time offer but do not publish an end date. Some third-party coverage has cited October 22, 2026 as a deadline. That date does not appear as an official deadline in Mint’s materials, so treat it as unconfirmed. If you want the offer, the safest course is to act while the promotion is live and confirm the current terms on Mint’s site at the time of purchase.

About the announcement
In T-Mobile’s October 8, 2026 newsroom release, Scott Venuti, general manager of Mint Mobile, said: “Ten years ago, Mint set out to challenge the old way of doing wireless and prove customers could get premium service without the premium price tag.” The quote describes the brand’s positioning. It is not a statement about the price or terms of this promotion, which should be checked on Mint’s own pages.
Mint’s own offer pages and help center are the primary sources for the price, eligibility, activation window, and Unlimited conditions described above.
