Turn the statue whose note mentions white birches toward the birch painting on the floor beside the guardrail. Press Stop with each statue facing its match; both must be aligned for the puzzle to finish and an Exquisite Chest to appear.
Where to find the statues
The two Elegant Snegurochka Statues are on floor F2 of the House of Hesperides, also called the Mountain Mansion. The direct walkthrough places access to F2 after you obtain the Invitation to the “Ritual,” before the Hesperides of Love and Hate World Quest. Each statue has a note that points to one nearby painting. AllThingsHow’s walkthrough, updated August 12, 2026, gives the direct solution; GameWith’s House of Hesperides guide, last updated October 5, 2026 and identified as a Version 7.0 guide, also covers the statue puzzle.

Which painting each statue should face
| Note clue | Target painting | Where it is |
|---|---|---|
| “amongst the green pines” | Pine-tree painting | On the wall |
| “amongst the white birches” | White-birch painting | On the floor beside the guardrail |
The walkthrough transcribes the first note as: “I shall walk into the forest depths, and in those depths, I shall transform and dwell amongst the green pines,” and the second as: “I shall walk into the forest depths, and in those depths, I shall transform and stand amongst the white birches.” These are in-game clue texts transcribed by the secondary guide.
How to solve the puzzle
- Interact with one statue and choose Read to check its note.
- Match the note’s tree reference to its painting: green pines means the painting on the wall; white birches means the painting on the floor beside the guardrail.
- Rotate the statue toward its matching painting and press Stop when it faces it.
- Read the other statue’s note and repeat the match and rotation. Both statues need to face their correct paintings at the same time.
If the puzzle does not complete
If you stop at the wrong angle, the statue continues turning until it comes around again, according to the walkthrough. Let it rotate back to the target and press Stop. If no completion appears after both statues stop, reread the notes and adjust whichever statue is not facing its matching painting.

What happens when both statues are aligned
Correctly aligning both statues completes the “Misaligned Statues” challenge and spawns an Exquisite Chest. AllThingsHow lists Adventure EXP, character level-up materials, and Primogems among the chest’s contents, but does not state quantities.
Version and source context
The solution is corroborated by two secondary walkthroughs: AllThingsHow’s direct puzzle guide and GameWith’s broader Version 7.0 House of Hesperides guide. A YouTube walkthrough published in August 2026 also lists a “Statues Facing Different Directions” segment among its House of Hesperides puzzles: YouTube walkthrough. No official HoYoverse solution is cited by these sources, so game access details and puzzle behavior may differ after a later update.
