Alinea also estimates that 1.7 million people accessed the game through Game Pass instead of buying a copy. It estimates that 722,000 subscribers paid for a Premium early-access upgrade. Neither number is part of the 230,000-copy sales estimate: subscription access is not a copy purchase, and an upgrade is a separate paid transaction.
