In Gears of War: E-Day, “Enemy Lines” is Act 3, Chapter 2, following “Stranded.” Follow the main tunnel route, take the collectible detours at the subway wreckage, and pick up Erick Davis’s COG Tags in the storm sewers before triggering the Corpser encounter. For the boss, use the arena pillars: bait its attacks so the pillars fall onto it.
Route through Enemy Lines
The chapter follows Marcus and Bravo Squad through Locust tunnels beneath Kalona. The route is mostly linear, but several collectibles sit off the objective path. The locations below follow the third-party walkthroughs from AllThingsHow and TechWiser, accessed October 7, 2026.

Red-lit cavern and supply cache
- At the start, follow the objective marker into the red-lit cavern. As the path bends right and descends, check the narrow passage on the right for the Damaged Gnasher Shotgun and the first Hard Case.
- Continue to the Locust supply-cache cavern. Search the pile on the left for Parchment and Powder Pouch. Use the cache to resupply before heading toward the subway station.
Subway station and wrecked trains
- Clear the subway station. Use the available elevation and ranged weapons where practical.
- Near the wrecked train, look on the right by the Kalona poster for Parchment with Indecipherable Writing.
- Before leaving the station, search the lobby and upper balcony for Hard Cases.
- After the Wretches ambush near the crashed trains, climb over the broken train sections and take the two nearby detours before returning to the objective route.
Two detours by the wreckage
- Beth Avila’s COG Tags: Take the side tunnel and descend the stairs near the subway wreckage.
- Maintenance Worker’s Bloodied Flashlight: Search the dark tunnel leading away from the objective, toward the red glow and wreckage.
Sinkhole and storm sewers
- Return to the main route, cross toward the sinkhole, and clear the hostiles.
- Continue toward the storm sewers. Control radios that rescue will not come until the squad reaches the surface.
- In the sewer area, find Private First Class Erick Davis’s COG Tags beside the COG supply cache. Collect them before triggering the boss fight.
All six Enemy Lines collectibles
Both collectible guides report six chapter collectibles. Use this list to check your route; the War Journal can confirm whether you have the full six-of-six count.

How to beat the Corpser
The shared practical advice in the walkthroughs is to use the arena pillars rather than relying on gunfire at the start. Position yourself behind a pillar and bait the Corpser into attacking. When the pillar breaks or falls onto it, repeat the tactic with another pillar.
The guides describe the encounter’s later staging differently. Gamer Social Club says the Corpser initially cannot be damaged by weapons, then retreats to another area where it can be shot; it also reports Tickers and Juvies joining the fight. AllThingsHow describes repeated pillar hits followed by a ceiling collapse. Treat the pillars as the dependable core strategy, but do not assume the guides establish one identical sequence for every run.

Gamer Social Club says Tickers can be kicked back with B on an Xbox controller. That is a source-specific Xbox control tip, not a platform-independent instruction.

When the chapter ends
AllThingsHow reports that “Enemy Lines” ends automatically when the ceiling collapses onto the Corpser and the escape route opens. The story then continues to Act 3, Chapter 3, “Last Foothold.” Check the War Journal for the six-of-six collectible count if you are tracking chapter completion.
