Gear.Club Unlimited 3 moves its story to Japan, where players build a club and compete in local car culture, while also bringing back the French Mediterranean coast. Nacon describes highway races through traffic in both settings, alongside conventional races and time attacks. The announced platform picture includes Xbox Series X|S, PC and PS5, but the official pages list conflicting release dates.
What Japan adds to Gear.Club Unlimited 3
The Japan setting is a new chapter for the series, following earlier entries set in France and Italy, according to Nacon’s product page. Its story puts players in charge of creating and growing a club in Japan, engaging with local car culture, challenging rivals and expanding the club’s influence. Xbox’s listing says victories and choices shape the journey.

Nacon describes the contrast as “two contrasting environments: the sunny Mediterranean coast and the twisting, mountainous roads of Japan” in its Gamescom 2025 press release. The two locations are also the settings for the advertised racing activities.

The publisher and store descriptions present highway racing as a mode in which players race through traffic on French and Japanese highways. The advertised approach is to anticipate other vehicles, change lanes, pass rivals closely, and manage speed and handling. These are official descriptions, not independent hands-on findings.
#1 Best Overall

The game also includes conventional races and time attacks. Nacon and the storefronts advertise more than 40 cars, customization covering mechanical parts and bodywork as well as paint and rims, and customizable garages. PlayStation’s listing describes 50 courses across France and Japan; the US Xbox page calls its offering 50 tracks. These are publisher/store specifications, not independently tested counts.
Platforms and listed features
| Platform listing | What the page lists | Release date shown |
|---|---|---|
| Xbox (US) | Xbox Series X|S and PC; Xbox Play Anywhere; local co-op and local multiplayer for two players; single-player; 4K Ultra HD, HDR10, variable refresh rate and 60 fps+ labels; PC gamepad support. | October 8, 2026, as displayed on the US Xbox listing. |
| PlayStation Store (US) | PS5; offline play; one to two players; Remote Play; DualSense vibration and trigger effects. | October 7, 2026 at 03:00 PM UTC, as displayed on the US PlayStation Store page. |
| Nacon product page | Platform buttons for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Its earlier Gamescom announcement named PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series X|S as 2026 platforms. | February 19, 2026 on the product page; this conflicts with the later Xbox and PlayStation store dates and should not be treated as a confirmed date for those editions. |
The Xbox page’s resolution, frame-rate and display labels are listed capabilities, not measured performance results. Likewise, Xbox’s local two-player and Play Anywhere listings should not be assumed to match PlayStation features. Nacon identifies itself as publisher and Eden Games as developer in the official store descriptions.

Why there is no single confirmed release date here
The official pages do not agree on one launch date. The US Xbox listing says October 8, 2026, the US PlayStation Store shows October 7, 2026 at 03:00 PM UTC, and Nacon’s product page displays February 19, 2026. The PlayStation Store time is still ahead of October 7, 2026 at 03:41:23 UTC; it is a displayed future release time, not evidence that the game had already launched.

Treat those as page-specific dates, not a reconciled worldwide schedule. Availability and timing can differ by platform and territory, so check the live store page for the edition and region you intend to use. The available official listings establish PC as a listed Xbox platform and as a target in Nacon’s 2025 announcement; they do not establish current PC availability beyond those statements.
