Garmin’s active-lifestyle comparison summarizes differences between watch lines. Compare Garmin watches for staying active.

Can a Garmin watch track your weight?
Weight recording is model- and software-specific, not a universal feature to assume across Garmin watches. In its feature matrix published February 24, 2026, Garmin marked weight tracking for the Venu X1, Venu 4, vívoactive 6, and Forerunner 570 and 970. That is a dated update table, so check Garmin’s current support documentation for the exact model and software version before buying on the basis of weight tracking. If you want dedicated weigh-ins and body-composition data, Garmin lists the Index S2 as a smart scale. It is an optional companion rather than a requirement for using a fitness watch. Garmin’s health and fitness products.

- Compare the features you will actually use: look at activity coverage, built-in GPS and sports use, training depth, display and controls, and battery estimates.
- Decide whether you need weight entries: confirm watch and software compatibility if you want weight tracking on the watch, or consider a dedicated scale for measurements.
- Recheck current details: product availability, prices and software support can change; use Garmin’s current product and support pages before purchase.
