Garmin System Software 22.41 fixes an issue that could reset a watch during a golf activity, and addresses a treadmill-calibration problem that could prevent more accurate distance. The update applies to the Fenix 8 family, Fenix E, Enduro 3 and Tactix 8 family. Garmin’s forum announcement said the rollout was 100% live when it was posted; that does not confirm that 22.41 is installed on every individual watch.
Which Garmin watches are covered?
System Software 22.41 covers Garmin’s Fenix 8 family, Fenix E, Enduro 3 and Tactix 8 family. The model families are named in Garmin’s 22.41 forum announcement. Notebookcheck also described the release as a stable, global rollout in its July 24, 2026 report.

What does System Software 22.41 fix?
Device resets during golf
Garmin’s changelog says 22.41 “Fixes an issue that could cause the device to reset during a golf activity.” The wording identifies a possible reset problem; it does not establish how often it occurred or guarantee that every golf-related reset will be prevented.

The changelog also says it “Fixes an issue with treadmill calibration failing to result in more accurate treadmill distance.” This addresses a problem with calibration taking effect, not a promise of perfect treadmill-distance accuracy.

How to check for and install the update
Notebookcheck reported this manual check path: Main menu > Settings > System > Software Update > Check for Updates. Menu wording can vary by watch or software version, so use the equivalent Software Update option if your menus differ.
- Open the watch’s main menu.
- Go to Settings, then System, then Software Update.
- Select Check for Updates and follow any on-screen prompts if 22.41 is offered.
The official announcement’s 100%-live status means Garmin said the rollout was fully available at that time; it is not evidence that a particular watch has already downloaded or installed the software.

How 22.41 fits with earlier Garmin software
Notebookcheck reported that 22.41 continued the interim v22.xx software line rather than ending ongoing v23.xx development. Its account of the preceding System Software 22.39 mentions possible battery drain and separate voice-call issues; those were earlier-update items, not changes listed for 22.41.
