1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsAs reported on October 11, 2026, GameStop’s $10,000 Riptonium Pokémon Power Pack carried a 44.8% chance of revealing a card estimated at $6,000–$8,000—at least $2,000 below the pack’s price on those estimates. Another 29.9% fell in the $8,000–$10,000 band, which is below or equal to the purchase price, not a demonstrated loss of thousands. Those are reported value bands, not guaranteed resale proceeds or a record of actual buyer outcomes.
What are the reported odds of losing money?
Dexerto reported the following displayed probabilities for the $10,000 Riptonium pack on October 11, 2026. The estimates are compared with the $10,000 purchase price:

| Estimated card-value band | Reported chance | What it means against a $10,000 price |
|---|---|---|
| $6,000–$8,000 | 44.8% | At least $2,000 below the price, based on the estimate. |
| $8,000–$10,000 | 29.9% | Below or equal to the price; this band does not establish a loss of thousands. |
| $10,000–$20,000 | 22.9% | At or above the price on the estimate, before any selling costs. |
| $20,000–$40,000 | 1.5% | Above the price on the estimate, before any selling costs. |
| $40,000–$80,000 | 0.5% | Above the price on the estimate, before any selling costs. |
| Above $80,000 | 0.4% | Above the price on the estimate; the article reported a top estimate of $156,000. |
The 44.8% figure is the reported chance of a card estimate in the $6,000–$8,000 band. Adding the next 29.9% band gives 74.7% in bands at or below the pack price, but it would be misleading to call all of that a chance of losing thousands: the second band may be as high as $10,000. Neither figure says what a buyer could actually sell a card for.

What the odds do—and do not—measure
The percentages were displayed probabilities reported by Dexerto, not measured pull results from a named statistical study or a sample of completed purchases. The article said the probabilities update every five minutes and card values fluctuate, so the figures are a snapshot rather than a fixed odds table. The listed estimates describe card-value ranges; they do not establish guaranteed cash, buyer returns, or the likelihood of finding a buyer at that price.

The official terms make the distinction explicit: “The Value of your Item(s) may not meet or exceed the price you paid for your Power Pack purchase.” GameStop says estimated values are subjective and can change. A value estimate should therefore not be treated as the amount a buyer will receive after a sale.
How a GameStop Power Pack works
A Power Pack is a digital representation of one PSA-authenticated, graded and encapsulated card. The pack reveals a real graded card; the official overview says it is placed in the buyer’s PSA Vault account. From there, the buyer can hold it, request shipment, or sell it, subject to the applicable terms.

Selling or withdrawing the card
GameStop’s purchase terms describe a limited saleback option available for up to seven days after purchase, subject to the terms and a marketplace surcharge. If the buyer does not use that option, the card can remain in the vault or be withdrawn to a physical address for an associated cost. An outside sale is a separate transaction, and neither its price nor its timing is guaranteed.

Is the Riptonium price and probability table still current?
The October 11, 2026 report is the source for the Riptonium odds above. A separate official listing surfaced for the Pokémon Neutronium tier at $5,000, not Riptonium. That different tier showed a 44.9% band at $3,500–$5,000 and also stated that values fluctuate and probabilities update every five minutes. It does not independently confirm the reported Riptonium figures. Because the displayed odds can change, check the current Riptonium listing before relying on a particular probability.
