GamesRadar+ Replay is looking for spooky gameplay clips for October 2026—and the game does not have to be a horror title. Submit a creepy, eerie, scary or simply weird moment for a chance at one of two Amazon vouchers: £250 or $250 for the best clip overall, and £250 or $250 for the best clip in the spooky theme. Before uploading, check the eligibility rules and understand the broad licence you grant over submitted footage.
What counts as a spooky Replay clip?
Almost any game can fit. GamesRadar+ says the clip need not be outright horror: creepy moments, eerie happenings, odd encounters and full scares are all in scope if they suit the season. The October 2026 announcement describes the theme as “spooky” and invites clips that capture that feeling.

That means a strange glitch, an unsettling encounter in an otherwise ordinary game, or a genuinely frightening horror-game moment could all work. The key is whether the moment reads as spooky, not the game’s genre.

GamesRadar+ lists two separate awards, each worth £250 or $250 as an Amazon voucher:
#1 Best Overall
- Amazon.com Gift Cards never expire and carry no fees.
- Multiple gift card designs and denominations to choose from.
- Redeemable towards millions of items store-wide at Amazon.com or certain affiliated websites.
- Available for immediate delivery. Gift cards sent by email can be scheduled up to a year in advance.

- Best clip overall: open to clips from any game.
- Best clip in October’s spooky theme: for a clip that fits the monthly theme.
The GamesRadar+ team says it will choose the winners at the end of the month. The announcement does not give an exact submission cutoff, so do not assume that entries close at a particular time on October 31. It also does not specify an entry limit or say whether one clip can be considered in both categories.
How to submit a clip
- Open the October Replay announcement or the Replay page.
- Select the “Submit your clip” button and follow the current submission form’s instructions, including its technical requirements.
- Read the Replay terms and conditions before sending footage. Submitting means agreeing to those terms.
The October announcement does not specify a file size, format or other upload requirements. A general GamesRadar explainer has previously said clips should be under 10GB, but that is not an October-specific requirement; use the current form for the rules that apply to your submission.

Who can enter?
The current Replay terms, version 1.1 and last updated 21 October 2025, require submitters to be at least 18 and residents of the United Kingdom or United States. GamesRadar’s general explainer also describes the Amazon gift card eligibility as limited to UK and US residents. Other restrictions may apply, so check the terms and form before entering.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsKnow what rights you grant when you submit
Submitting is not just a private file transfer. You keep copyright in your footage, but the terms grant Future Publishing Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully paid-up, transferable and sublicensable licence to use it. In practical terms, the company may host, store, reproduce, edit, modify, publish, display, perform and distribute the footage in any media or format.

The terms also say you will not be paid for those uses, will not approve the final presentation, and waive moral rights. Footage may be shared or reused after publication, and GamesRadar is not required to credit you. The October announcement says selected clips may be posted and shared with the GamesRadar audience, but selection or credit is not guaranteed. Do not submit footage unless you are comfortable with these terms and have the necessary permissions for your contribution.
The terms also prohibit unlawful or harmful material, harassment, privacy violations and infringement of other people’s rights. They require you to have permission for your contributions and to follow the relevant game publisher’s and platform’s rules.
Rank #4

- Gift Card has no fees and no expiration date
- Gift Card is nested inside a specialty gift box

Do you need a capture card?
No. GamesRadar’s gameplay recording guide covers built-in capture options for PS5, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, as well as PC. Depending on your device, you may be able to save recent gameplay or start a recording without buying extra hardware. Recording features and limits can vary by platform and change over time, so check the guide and your console or PC settings for the current steps.
An external capture device is an optional alternative if you need longer or more flexible console recordings, or want the footage saved directly to a computer. GamesRadar’s guide names the Elgato HD60 series as an example; it does not specify a particular model. Capture-card setups can add steps and may introduce latency, and a splitter may be needed to view gameplay on a monitor while recording. For a short clip, built-in capture may be simpler.
