The announcement describes these as additional pavilions joining those already confirmed, rather than replacing any previously announced national presence.

When and where is the Bangkok show?
Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show 2026 takes place at Bangkok’s Queen Sirikit National Convention Center from Thursday, 29 October, through Sunday, 1 November 2026.

Business days: 29–30 October
The business area is scheduled for 29 and 30 October and is restricted to games-industry professionals and media. Its programme includes a conference with more than 80 speakers from 27 countries, pitch and reverse-pitch competitions, and the Invest Circle and VIP XPerience programmes sponsored by Xsolla. This is the part of the event most relevant to studios seeking funding, publishing, distribution, outsourcing, technology or regional market access.
Consumer days: through 1 November
The entertainment area continues through 1 November for the consumer audience. Visitors can expect game showcases, live stages, esports challenges, influencer meet-and-greets, cosplay activity and an indie area. The exact appearance or schedule of an individual pavilion can vary, so attendees should check the organiser’s ticket and programme information before travelling.
Why the pavilion expansion matters
The organiser is positioning Bangkok as a meeting point between Southeast Asian markets and studios from Europe, North America and Asia. Felix Falk, managing director at game – The German Game Industry Association, said national pavilions receive backing when there is a clear business case, describing the event as a direct route for Asian developers to international partners and a gateway for Western studios to fast-growing games markets.

Kittipong Prucksa-aroon, president of the Thai Games Association, said the show brings Southeast Asia’s leading games markets together with major gaming nations at a single venue. In practical terms, the pavilion model gives developers a concentrated place to identify partners, while publishers and investors can survey multiple markets without visiting each one separately.
How large is the 2026 event?
The 15 October announcement says the 2026 edition will feature exhibitors from 29 countries and regions and 20 national pavilions representing 12 markets. Earlier 2026 event information described more than 35,000 square metres of space across four entertainment halls, a 20% increase in total event space from the previous edition.

What the previous edition indicates
The organiser’s 2026 announcement reports that the 2025 edition drew 206,159 attendees from 95 countries. It also recorded 5,590 business visitors from 81 countries and more than THB 1.22 billion in business negotiations. These are organiser-reported 2025 results, not a forecast for 2026, but they show why public agencies and trade bodies are using the event for international outreach.
What developers can expect
- Market discovery: National stands provide a starting point for finding studios, publishers, service providers and public-sector contacts in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the United States and other participating markets.
- Structured deal-making: The business area’s pitch, reverse-pitch, Invest Circle and VIP programmes are designed for introductions that go beyond casual booth conversations.
- Conference intelligence: More than 80 speakers from 27 countries are scheduled to address industry topics during the professional programme.
- Talent and indie visibility: The wider business programme includes the Thailand Game Talent Showcase, while the public area includes an indie zone and live programming.
What gamers can expect
Consumer visitors will find four entertainment halls, live stages, esports challenges, influencer meet-and-greets and a cosplay competition, alongside publisher and hardware showcases. The July programme announcement named appearances or showcases involving Synnex, 4Divinity, Bandai Namco Entertainment, CAPCOM, FC Online, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, GRYPHLINE, Nintendo, Razer Game Services, SEGA, The Pokémon Company, AMD and SANDISK. Line-ups and times remain subject to the organiser’s final schedule.
