Nekome: Nazi Hunter is a single-player, third-person action game from ProbablyMonsters. Its story follows Vano Nastasu, a young Romani man seeking revenge after Nazi soldiers murder his family. Choose Hitman if you want to replay a location, test a new setup, and improve your plan. Do not choose it expecting Nekome’s historical perspective, shared fear system, or close-quarters brutality.

2. Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1 — the best classic narrative-stealth substitute

Start with Hitman: World of Assassination. It most clearly turns preparation into the main play activity: learn the space, select a method, and execute. Dishonored is the better follow-up if you want the same idea expressed through supernatural tools and multiple systemic routes.

If you want a serious, extended stealth story
Choose Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol. 1. Its more-than-50-hour scope and political narrative make it the strongest substitute for a campaign where stealth serves a larger story. Expect older mechanics and radar-based detection rather than Nekome’s announced awareness model.
If you want to alternate stealth and direct fighting
