The deal covered the unlocked Mint model with 256GB of storage. Since the reported sale has passed, check the live listing before treating that price as available.
What the Galaxy Z Fold7 deal included
On September 30, 2026, 9to5Google reported that Amazon had the unlocked Galaxy Z Fold7 in Mint with 256GB of storage for $1,350, with the offer ending that day or earlier if it sold out. 9to5Google’s deal report described the price as roughly $150 below the approximately $1,500 price point it said the phone had held since its successors launched.

A same-day report from 9to5Toys put the price at $1,349.99 shipped and described it as $650 below the Fold7’s $2,000 debut price. The one-cent difference between the two reports does not change the key point: both refer to the same-day sale, not a current Amazon price. 9to5Toys’ report does not establish that the offer continued after September 30.

Is the $1,350 offer still available?
The cited offer was described as ending September 30, 2026, or earlier if stock ran out. As of October 3, 2026, the reports do not confirm a live Amazon price, seller, inventory, or replacement promotion. Check the current listing before buying; do not assume that the Mint 256GB configuration is still $1,350 or that other colors and storage options had the same deal.

What “the price of a normal smartphone” means
The headline comparison is to a premium conventional phone, not to a budget or midrange smartphone. In its September 30 report, 9to5Google compared the $1,350 Fold7 sale price with a $1,400 Galaxy S26 Ultra price, making the Fold7 $50 less in that comparison. That is a specific flagship-to-flagship price comparison, not a measurement of the average price of ordinary phones.
