Another deal outlet rounded that configuration to $1,550 and reported the 512GB model at $1,750. Amazon scheduled Prime Big Deal Days for October 6–7, 2026, but the reports do not establish that either listing is still available; check the live price, seller, stock, storage, and Prime eligibility before buying.
What the reported Galaxy Z Fold 8 deals cost
The October 6 deal reports described these Amazon prices and regular-price comparisons:

| 256GB | $1,549 | $1,899 | 9to5Google, October 6, 2026 |
| 256GB | $1,550 | $1,900 | 9to5toys, October 6, 2026 |
| 512GB | $1,750 | $2,100 | 9to5toys, October 6, 2026 |
The one-dollar difference for 256GB appears to be rounding or a difference in listing capture; the sources do not establish which price a buyer will see now. Compare the price shown on the current product page for the exact storage configuration.

Is it really the lowest price ever?
Deal coverage characterized the 256GB offer as a record low, but the available reports do not provide a complete historical price series. “Lowest price ever” is therefore the outlets’ characterization, not an independently verified all-time record. The more firmly supported takeaway is that outlets reported a substantial temporary discount against their stated regular prices during the October event.

When the promotion applies
Amazon’s official announcement said Prime Big Deal Days ran October 6–7, 2026, as a 48-hour event for Prime members. 9to5Google also reported that Prime membership was required for its $1,549 offer. Since the event is time-limited and the reports do not verify the live listing, confirm both the current price and the Prime requirement at checkout.
How to compare the offer before buying
- Check storage: Compare 256GB with 256GB, or 512GB with 512GB; the reported prices differ by capacity.
- Check the seller: Confirm whether Amazon or another merchant is selling the device on the live listing.
- Separate cash price from trade-in: 9to5Google reported eligibility for up to $815 in trade-in credits. That is an offer ceiling, not a guaranteed credit; your device and the current terms determine the value.
- Confirm the offer is active: Event dates and published deal coverage do not guarantee current stock, price, or eligibility.
The cited reports do not establish what Best Buy or individual carriers were offering, nor do they show whether a later Black Friday or Cyber Monday deal would be better. Those comparisons require current, like-for-like prices and trade-in terms.
