Reports say the Samsung phone may have four base colors, with Violet mentioned separately as a possible special shade; neither its release nor its availability has been confirmed.
What colors are reported for the Galaxy S27 Ultra?
On October 5, 2026, Android Central reproduced a post attributed to tipster Ice Universe listing the Galaxy S27 Ultra’s base color options as “Black, Blue, Light Pink, White.” The report explicitly notes that Samsung has not officially confirmed the phone or its colors. Android Central’s report

That list does not include Violet. A separate claim, also attributed to Ice Universe in secondary reporting, says a special Violet shade may be in the works. Sammy Fans
Could Violet be a special or online-exclusive color?
Possibly, but its status is unresolved. On October 5, 9to5Google said it was unclear whether a purple option would be offered, including whether it might be online-exclusive. A report published by Gizmochina on October 6 likewise said it was not known whether Violet would be limited or sold only online. These are reports about an unannounced phone, not confirmation from Samsung. 9to5Google; Gizmochina

How does that compare with iPhone 18 Pro Burgundy?
The comparison is currently about certainty, not a verified visual match. Apple announced the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max on September 9, 2026, listing Burgundy, Glacier, Silver, and Black among their finishes. Burgundy is therefore an official Apple finish; Samsung has not announced Violet for the S27 Ultra. Apple Newsroom
There is not enough confirmed information to say whether a Galaxy S27 Ultra Violet finish would look similar to Burgundy. The reports do not establish its precise appearance, whether Samsung will sell it, or which markets or sales channels might carry it.

What is confirmed—and what remains a rumor?
- Confirmed by Apple: Burgundy is one of the announced iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max finishes.
- Reported, not confirmed by Samsung: Black, Blue, Light Pink, and White as Galaxy S27 Ultra base colors, plus a possible special Violet shade.
- Still unknown: Whether Samsung will offer Violet at all, what it will look like, and whether it would be a standard, limited, or online-exclusive finish.
Until Samsung makes an announcement, the Galaxy S27 Ultra Violet story should be treated as a tipster-driven color rumor rather than a confirmed Burgundy alternative.
