The Samsung Galaxy S26 FE and iQOO 16 differ most clearly on paper in display resolution and refresh rate: Samsung lists a 6.7-inch FHD+ screen at up to 120 Hz, while iQOO Community launch posts report a 6.85-inch 2K display at 165 Hz. Samsung’s specifications are published on regional product pages; the iQOO figures and its China starting price are community-posted, so treat them as provisional pending confirmation on an official local product page. There is no reliable single price difference without a country, matching storage tier, retailer type and date.

Which display is better on paper?
The iQOO 16 has the larger, higher-resolution and faster-refreshing display according to the community-reported figures: 6.85 inches, 2K and 165 Hz versus the Galaxy S26 FE’s 6.7 inches, FHD+ and up to 120 Hz. Those specifications may matter if you prioritize fine detail or a higher maximum refresh rate. They do not, by themselves, establish which screen looks better in everyday use: brightness, calibration, power consumption and content support are not compared by the cited figures.

How do the processors compare?
Samsung lists the Exynos 2500 for the Galaxy S26 FE; iQOO Community posts identify the iQOO 16’s chip as Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6. The chip names alone do not show which phone is faster or more efficient in real-world use. No controlled benchmark or independent performance test is established here, so choose based on verified device-level testing rather than an assumed winner.

What do the camera specifications show?
Samsung specifies a 50 MP + 12 MP + 8 MP rear-camera setup and optical 3x zoom. An iQOO Community post reports three 50 MP rear cameras, including a periscope telephoto. This describes the reported camera configurations, not photo or video quality: megapixel counts and telephoto design cannot establish results across different lighting, processing or camera modes.
What is known about battery, charging and software?
The iQOO Community launch posts report an 8,400 mAh battery and 100 W wired charging. The Samsung UK and India specification pages cited here do not provide a directly comparable battery-capacity or charging-rate figure, so a complete battery comparison is not supported by these sources.

Samsung’s launch announcement identifies One UI 9 as the Galaxy S26 FE’s launch software and says it is the first phone in the S26 family to launch with that version. An iQOO Community post reports Android 17 with OriginOS 7 for the iQOO 16. These launch-software details do not establish how long either phone will receive updates; check the regional support policy before making update longevity a deciding factor.
Is there a meaningful price difference?
Not without specifying a market and matching the prices. The only iQOO figure established here is a China starting price of CNY 5,999 reported in an iQOO Community post; it is not a verified price for another country. Samsung’s regional product pages do not establish a market-matched sale price for this comparison. Currency conversion alone would not account for local taxes, storage configuration, retailer pricing or availability.

For a useful comparison, check both phones in the same country and on the same date, using the same storage capacity and retailer type—ideally authorized local sellers. Confirm that the iQOO 16 is officially available in that market before comparing it with Samsung’s local price.

Which phone should you consider?
- Consider the Galaxy S26 FE if you want a phone with specifications published on Samsung’s regional product pages and a documented launch date and software version.
- Consider the iQOO 16 if its reported 2K 165 Hz display, large battery and 100 W wired charging appeal to you—and you can verify the specifications, warranty and authorized availability for your market.
- Wait to compare prices until you can match country, storage tier, retailer type and date. The China community-posted starting price is not enough to establish a fair local price difference.
