At the official India store prices checked on 7 October 2026, the 12GB/256GB iQOO 15 cost ₹1,000 more than the 12GB/256GB Samsung Galaxy S25: ₹85,999 versus ₹84,999. The choice is less about that small price gap than about priorities: iQOO lists a much larger, sharper 144Hz screen and a 7,000mAh battery, while Samsung’s S25 is substantially smaller and lighter. Prices and stock can change, so check both listings before buying.
India price difference for the 256GB models
The prices below were displayed on the manufacturers’ India stores on 7 October 2026. They are a dated price snapshot, not a promise of stock, checkout price or the lowest market-wide offer.

On those listings, the iQOO 15 was ₹1,000 more. Samsung’s listing showed a ₹10,000 saving against its displayed MRP; that is a store-displayed reduction, not evidence of a continuing offer. Samsung India’s Galaxy S25 listing notes that availability depends on configuration and stock. Check the iQOO India store listing for its current price and availability.

The iQOO global specifications list the iQOO 15 dimensions and the Legend variant’s weight; check the India configuration for exact variant details. Manufacturer brightness figures should not be treated as directly comparable measurements: the iQOO page’s 6,000-nit figure is identified as local peak brightness. Which phone is better for your priorities?
Choose the iQOO 15 for a bigger screen and battery specifications
The iQOO 15’s 6.85-inch, 3168 × 1440 AMOLED panel has both more listed resolution and a higher refresh-rate ceiling than the S25’s 6.2-inch-class, FHD+ 120Hz display. Its listed 7,000mAh typical battery capacity and 100W wired charging also make it the stronger specification-sheet choice for buyers who value capacity and charging power. Those figures do not establish how long either phone lasts in everyday use or how charging compares under identical conditions.
Choose the Galaxy S25 for a compact, lighter phone
At 162g and 146.9 × 70.5 × 7.2mm, the Galaxy S25 is the clear option for someone who wants a smaller, lighter handset. The iQOO 15 Legend is listed at 220g and approximately 163.65 × 76.80mm. If one-handed handling, pocketability or carrying weight matters more than a large display, the S25’s dimensions are a meaningful advantage.

Use camera specifications as a checklist, not a quality verdict
The iQOO lists three 50MP rear cameras, including a 3x periscope camera, and a 32MP front camera. Samsung lists a 50MP/10MP/12MP rear setup with 3x optical zoom and a 12MP front camera. Megapixel counts and lens descriptions do not establish which phone takes better photos or selfies; that requires comparable real-world testing.

The S25 uses Android with Samsung One UI features; the iQOO 15 is listed with Android 16 and OriginOS 6. Samsung India states that security updates are valid until 31 January 2032. The official iQOO source cited here does not establish a comparable support end date, so the available evidence is insufficient to declare an update-duration winner. Buyers for whom support policy is decisive should verify iQOO’s India policy directly before purchase.

Verdict: which one should you buy?
Choose the iQOO 15 if you want the larger, higher-resolution 144Hz display, higher listed battery capacity, 100W wired charging or its 3x periscope camera hardware. Choose the Galaxy S25 if compact dimensions, lower weight, Samsung’s software and ecosystem, or its published India security-update date matter more. The checked official prices put the phones close together, but the specifications alone cannot settle real-world performance, battery endurance or camera quality.
