Galaxy S25 Ultra vs vivo X300: Key Specs and Price Reality

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is the larger, S Pen-equipped choice; the vivo X300 is the smaller phone with a higher listed battery capacity and faster wired charging. There is no reliable single price difference without matching the country, storage configuration, tax basis and date. The specifications below describe manufacturer listings, not independent camera or battery tests.

How the Galaxy S25 Ultra and vivo X300 differ

The first practical distinction is size. Samsung’s India specifications list a 6.9-inch-class display at 3120 × 1440 with refresh rates up to 120 Hz. vivo’s global specifications list a 6.31-inch X300 display, also promoted at 120 Hz. For a smaller handset, the vivo’s listed diagonal is the more relevant starting point; display dimensions alone do not establish which screen looks better.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra has built-in S Pen support and Samsung DeX support, making it the clear fit for buyers who want a stylus workflow. The vivo sources reviewed do not establish an equivalent built-in stylus feature.

Security-update endpoint Samsung India lists security updates as valid until 31 January 2032. Samsung specifications A comparable explicit support end date was not confirmed in the cited vivo pages.

What the camera specifications mean—and don’t mean

Both phones list a 200 MP rear camera, but their complete camera arrays differ: Samsung lists four rear cameras, including 3x and 5x optical zoom, while vivo lists three and promotes a separate 2.35x telephoto extender. Those details point to different hardware configurations and potential shooting ranges; megapixel counts and camera counts alone do not establish photo quality. No independent head-to-head camera test is established here.

  • Stunning 6.9″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X QHD+ display with adaptive 1–120 Hz refresh rate, ultra‑bright up to ~2600 nits, HDR support, “Vision Booster,” and adaptive color tone — giving vivid colours, great outdoor visibility, and super‑smooth scrolling.
  • Powerful internals: it runs on the new Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy (3 nm) chip, with 12 GB (or in some markets up to 16 GB) RAM and up to 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage — offering significantly improved CPU/GPU/NPU performance, especially for AI tasks, gaming, and heavy multitasking.
  • Advanced quad‑camera system: 200 MP wide main sensor, plus a 50 MP ultrawide, a 50 MP periscope telephoto (5× optical zoom), and a 10 MP telephoto (3× optical zoom) — giving flexibility from ultra‑wide through detailed telephoto shots, and strong performance in varied lighting.
  • 5,000 mAh battery with 45 W fast wired charging, wireless charging (Qi2) and reverse wireless charging — balancing long battery life with flexible charging options.
  • Durable, premium build: Titanium‑frame body, protected by Corning Gorilla Armor 2 glass, with IP68 dust/water resistance, ultrasonic in‑display fingerprint sensor, modern connectivity (5G, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth, UWB, USB‑C), and long‑term software support (Android 15 / One UI 7, promised 7 major OS/security updates).

The front-camera figures also differ—12 MP on Samsung’s India listing and 50 MP on vivo’s global page—but resolution alone cannot settle autofocus behavior, skin rendering, low-light results or portrait quality.

Battery capacity and charging are not an endurance verdict

vivo lists a 6040 mAh battery and charging up to 90 W wired and 40 W wireless. Samsung lists a typical 5000 mAh battery and up to 31 hours of video playback. These figures come from different manufacturers and do not form a like-for-like battery test: capacity does not directly predict runtime, and the playback claim should not be treated as a direct comparison with vivo’s capacity figure.

Charging speed in practice can vary with use. Charger-in-box contents also depend on region: vivo’s overseas package table indicates that a charger is absent for Europe, so check the exact local bundle before relying on the headline charging specification.

Price difference: compare the same market and configuration

A defensible current price gap is not established by the available references. The reported vivo launch prices below are tied to particular markets and configurations; they are not current retail quotes, and there is no matching Samsung price for the same market and date.

Which phone fits your priorities?

Choose the Galaxy S25 Ultra if

  • You want the larger display and built-in S Pen for notes, markup or sketching.
  • Samsung DeX support matters to your productivity setup.
  • The Samsung India-listed security-update endpoint is relevant to your purchase region; confirm local support terms if buying elsewhere.

Consider the vivo X300 if

  • You prefer the smaller 6.31-inch listed display.
  • The listed 6040 mAh battery capacity and up-to-90 W wired charging are priorities, while recognizing these are not independent endurance or charging tests.
  • You want its listed three-camera rear configuration and have checked the local model, bands, package and warranty.

Neither specification sheet establishes a universal winner. The better choice depends on handling preference, stylus needs, regional availability and like-for-like local pricing.
