How do the Galaxy S25 FE and Nothing Phone (4a) compare?
Both phones have AMOLED-class displays with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The S25 FE has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel; TechRadar lists the Phone (4a) at 6.78 inches with 2720 × 1224 resolution. Nothing’s resolution is higher on paper, but that alone does not determine overall display quality.

What is the price difference?
For the UK, TechRadar’s March 2026 comparison listed the Phone (4a) from £349 and the Galaxy S25 FE from £649—a £300 difference between those cited starting prices. This is not a current, matched-storage comparison of retailer prices.

Nothing’s March 2026 UK pre-order terms listed £349 for 8/128 GB, £379 for 8/256 GB and £399 for 12/256 GB. Its official UK product page showed the 8/128 GB model at £379 when accessed October 7, 2026. Those figures illustrate why launch-period pricing and a later listing should not be treated as interchangeable.
For the U.S., Samsung’s March 2026 unlocked MSRP was $649.99 for 128 GB and $709.99 for 256 GB. Samsung notes that prices can change. These U.S. figures cannot be directly subtracted from Nothing’s UK prices; the cited material does not establish a like-for-like U.S. Phone (4a) price.

Which one should you buy?
Pick the Galaxy S25 FE for Samsung’s software and charging
Samsung announced the S25 FE with One UI 8 and Galaxy AI features such as Gemini Live and Generative Edit. Its 45 W wired charging support is slightly below the Phone (4a)’s stated 50 W peak, but the figures alone do not establish which phone charges faster from empty to full. Samsung’s announced battery capacity is 4,900 mAh. Samsung describes the phone as a gateway to its Galaxy AI ecosystem; that is the company’s positioning, not an independent quality verdict.
The listed S25 FE body is also shorter, thinner and lighter than the Phone (4a) figures cited here. If comfortable one-handed handling or lower weight matters, compare the actual regional models in person where possible.

Pick the Phone (4a) for Nothing’s design, screen resolution or UK price
Nothing emphasizes the Glyph Bar and Essential AI tools in Nothing OS. Those are interface and design preferences rather than objectively better features; consider whether you want that approach over Samsung’s Galaxy ecosystem. The Phone (4a)’s listed 2720 × 1224 resolution is higher on paper, and its 5,080 mAh battery is larger by stated capacity. Capacity does not prove longer real-world battery life: the cited sources provide no independent endurance result comparing these two exact phones.
Its 50 W wired charging rating is also a peak specification, not a measured full-charge time. TechRadar reports that the Phone (4a) has no wireless charging, so account for that if wireless charging is part of your routine.

Choose based on the cameras you actually use
Both phones have a dedicated telephoto camera in the specifications cited, but their zoom figures are not directly comparable proof of image quality. Samsung’s telephoto is reported as 3× optical; Nothing’s periscope is listed at 3.5× optical, with up to 70× digital/ultra zoom stated. A high digital-zoom ceiling does not guarantee usable detail at long range.
TechRadar’s reviewer found the Phone (4a)’s photos less detailed and less color-accurate than desired and described its long-range results as unclear. That is one reviewer’s assessment, not a controlled camera comparison with the S25 FE. The review’s direct camera comparison was against the Galaxy S24 FE, not this S25 FE, so it does not settle which of these two takes better photos.

- Compare the same market and configuration. Match country, storage capacity, seller condition and promotion. Treat a launch price, an MSRP and a live store listing as different kinds of price evidence.
- Confirm the exact regional model. Check the seller or manufacturer listing for the processor, dimensions, supported network bands and warranty or service coverage for your country.
- Check current software-support commitments. The launch software versions above do not establish how long either phone will receive updates. Confirm the current manufacturer commitment for the exact model before purchase.
- Decide which trade-offs matter most. Compare Samsung’s Galaxy AI and One UI approach with Nothing’s Glyph Bar and Nothing OS; weigh the listed charging and battery figures against your need for wireless charging, and treat camera zoom labels as specifications rather than image-quality guarantees.
