The Galaxy S24 FE sits higher in Samsung’s lineup, while the Galaxy A36 5G is the less expensive model in Samsung’s dated US MSRP list. In that March 2026 list, the unlocked 128GB S24 FE is $649.99 and the 128GB A36 is $399.99—a $250 difference. Samsung marks the A36 listing EOL, so those figures are historical list prices, not a guide to what either phone costs today.

Processor
Samsung identifies the S24 FE’s processor as Exynos 2400e. The cited official A36 page does not provide a matching processor detail, so these sources are not enough to make a sourced chipset or performance ranking. They also include no comparable benchmark results.
Cameras
Samsung lists the A36 with a 50 MP main, 8 MP and 5 MP rear-camera arrangement, optical image stabilization on the main camera, and a 12 MP front camera. The available specifications do not provide a complete, region-matched camera comparison with the S24 FE. Megapixel counts alone cannot establish which phone takes better photos.

Battery
Samsung lists a typical 5,000 mAh capacity for the A36 and 4,700 mAh for the S24 FE. These capacity figures are not runtime measurements; no comparable battery-life test is established here.
Which phone is the better choice?
The listed specifications and prices establish a difference in positioning, not a universal winner. The S24 FE is the more premium-positioned model and has Samsung’s stated Exynos 2400e processor. The A36 offers a lower dated US list price and Samsung specifies its 6.7-inch, up-to-120 Hz display and 5,000 mAh typical battery. Which one makes better sense depends on current local pricing and the features that matter to you.
Rank #3

Before choosing, compare the same storage capacity and sales channel in your market. Also verify the exact regional model, network compatibility, warranty, and software-support terms with the local listing: the technical references here come from Samsung Saudi Arabia and Samsung Caribbean, while the prices are US unlocked MSRP entries. The cited material does not establish matched camera results, battery runtime, support duration, or current street prices.
