For a privacy screen protector made specifically for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Ringke Privacy Dual Easy Film Wing and JETech’s S23 Ultra privacy protector are two documented options. Ringke publishes a viewing-angle claim; JETech describes a flexible privacy film and claims fingerprint-unlock compatibility. Those are manufacturer statements, not independent test results, so compare the stated features rather than treating either as a proven winner.
Which privacy screen protectors fit the Galaxy S23 Ultra?
Check the exact phone model before ordering. Ringke says its Privacy Dual Easy Film Wing is compatible only with the Galaxy S23 Ultra. JETech identifies its product as being for the Galaxy S23 Ultra 5G with a 6.8-inch display, and excludes the S23 and S23 Plus. Protectors for other phones in the S23 family should not be assumed to fit.

How much side viewing do these protectors block?
Ringke’s stated viewing angles
Ringke says its polarizing film reduces screen visibility at 28° and completely obscures it at 40°. These figures are Ringke’s product claim; they were not independently validated here. The cited JETech page does not give an angle figure, so there is no supported numerical comparison between the two.

Privacy versus everyday viewing
A privacy filter is intended to make the display harder to see from an off-center position. It can also affect the experience for the person looking straight at the screen. The cited product pages do not supply controlled measurements of brightness or clarity, so consider the makers’ descriptions claims rather than proof that one film is brighter or clearer than another.
Will a privacy protector work with the S23 Ultra fingerprint sensor?
The Galaxy S23 Ultra’s fingerprint sensor is at the bottom center of the display. Samsung’s user manual advises keeping the sensor area and fingers clean and dry, and avoiding scratches or damage to the screen protector over the sensor. Follow the protector’s own installation instructions and test fingerprint unlocking afterward before relying on it.

JETech claims fingerprint-unlock compatibility, but that claim does not establish how reliably the sensor will work in every installation or for every user. Ringke’s cited product information describes touchscreen response, but does not establish fingerprint performance. A product listing’s compatibility claim is not a substitute for checking the installed protector on your phone.

Is Samsung’s clear screen protector a privacy alternative?
No. Samsung’s official EF-US918CTEGWW protector is a transparent film intended for screen protection, touch sensitivity and fingerprint-sensor use—not for blocking side views. Samsung’s Gulf product page describes an installation frame and scratch- and fingerprint-related coating. Samsung Japan’s April 20, 2023 accessory announcement describes high transparency, touch and fingerprint compatibility, and two front-protection sheets with an application set. Consider it only if a clear protector, rather than a privacy filter, is what you want.

How to install and check fingerprint unlocking
- Confirm the protector is labeled for the Galaxy S23 Ultra, not another S23 model.
- Use the installation steps and any alignment frame or application tools supplied with that protector. Samsung’s clear protector includes an installation frame or application set, but that does not mean a separate third-party tool is required for other products.
- Keep the display and your fingers clean and dry, paying particular attention to the bottom-center fingerprint sensor area.
- After installation, test fingerprint unlocking and touchscreen response. If unlocking is unreliable, check the protector’s positioning and condition and consult its maker’s fitting guidance before relying on it.
