What is the price difference?
There is no dependable, like-for-like current price difference established by the available listings. A 91mobiles snapshot displayed ₹20,999 for the M36 and ₹26,489 for the F70 Pro, a ₹5,490 difference between those headline prices. It does not establish that the figures were for matching RAM and storage configurations, and retailer prices and offers change. Treat that as a dated listing snapshot, not the amount the F70 Pro will always cost more.

These are launch-era prices, not current offers. The reviewed F70 Pro product-page information does not establish a reliable current official India price. To compare fairly, check both phones on the same day and match RAM, storage, seller, and offer conditions. Also confirm whether a bank discount is applied at checkout rather than comparing it with an undiscounted listing.
Which phone has the better display?
On the headline specifications available, neither has a clear advantage: both are listed with a 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel and a 120Hz refresh rate. Those figures do not establish differences in brightness, color tuning, outdoor visibility, or overall panel quality. If display performance is decisive, compare the exact regional variants or inspect them in person.

How do the processors, cameras, and batteries differ?
Processor
The M36 is listed with Samsung’s Exynos 1380, while the F70 Pro is listed with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3. The F70 Pro therefore has the newer chipset in this comparison, but chipset names alone do not prove which phone is faster in a particular app or game. No matched benchmark or gaming test is established here.
Rear and front cameras
Both phones have a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS) and a triple rear-camera setup, according to Samsung’s launch material for the M36 and product material for the F70 Pro. Comparison listings give the M36 an 8MP ultrawide camera and the F70 Pro a 5MP ultrawide; both list a 2MP macro camera. The M36’s front camera is listed at 13MP, versus 12MP on the F70 Pro.

The M36 has the higher listed ultrawide and selfie-camera resolutions, but megapixels do not establish which phone produces better photos. Lens, sensor, processing, and shooting conditions matter, and there is no matched camera test here to declare a winner.
Battery and charging
Samsung lists a 6,000mAh battery for the F70 Pro; comparison data lists 5,000mAh for the M36. That is a capacity difference, not a measured battery-life result: usage, settings, network conditions, and software affect runtime. The M36 launch announcement states 25W charging, while comparison data lists 45W for the F70 Pro. Verify charging specifications and whether a compatible charger is included for the exact variant you are buying.

How long will software support last?
Samsung announced six generations of Android upgrades and six years of security updates for the M36. For the F70 Pro, Samsung describes six OS generations and six years of security updates counted from its first global launch. These commitments are similar in stated duration, but the wording does not establish an exact final update date or a delivery schedule for each update.

Which one should you buy?
Choose the Galaxy M36 if
- Its current same-configuration price is meaningfully lower for you.
- You value the higher listed ultrawide resolution and the M36’s stated software-support commitment.
- The Exynos 1380 and 5,000mAh stated battery capacity suit your needs.
Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro if
- You prefer the newer listed Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset.
- The larger stated 6,000mAh battery capacity matters to your priorities.
- The actual price premium for the same RAM and storage configuration is worth those differences to you.
Neither specification sheet proves better real-world speed, camera results, or runtime. Make the final call using the exact variant and live price, then weigh the listed hardware differences against what you actually use.
