Compare live listings for the same RAM and storage before deciding.

Samsung describes both phones with 120 Hz AMOLED-class displays and 6000 mAh batteries. Those matching headline figures do not establish equal screen performance or battery runtime: endurance depends on use, settings and network conditions, and no comparable test results are available here.

Which phone is better for performance and everyday use?
Galaxy M35: Exynos 1380
Samsung announced the M35 with its Exynos 1380 processor. That identifies the platform, but it does not by itself establish how the phone compares in gaming, sustained workloads or day-to-day speed against the M47. No independent comparative benchmark is available to support a performance ranking.
Galaxy M47: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3
Samsung’s M47 product information identifies the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, alongside CPU speeds of 2.4 GHz and 1.8 GHz. For a buying decision, check the full specifications for the exact regional and storage variant you are considering; processor names and clock figures alone do not show real-world performance.

Display, battery and charging differences
Both are listed with a 120 Hz AMOLED display and a 6000 mAh typical battery. The M35 is specified for 25 W charging, while the M47 is listed for 45 W. The M47 has the higher stated charging rate, but charging time also depends on the adapter, cable, temperature and charging conditions.
Samsung says the M47 fast charger is sold separately. Include the cost of a compatible charger if you do not already have one; do not assume that a particular adapter is included with a retailer’s phone bundle.

Camera specifications: what the numbers establish
The M35 launch announcement highlights its 50 MP main camera with No Shake and Nightography features. Samsung lists the M47 with a 50 MP, 5 MP and 2 MP rear-camera setup and a 12 MP front camera. These specifications describe the cameras, not the quality of the resulting photos or video. Megapixel counts alone cannot settle which phone takes better pictures, and no direct camera test is available here.
Software support and durability
Samsung says the M47 receives six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates, counted from its first global launch date; Samsung also notes that this policy may change. The consulted Samsung M35 launch announcement does not state a comparable support-period figure, so it does not establish that the M35 has the same policy or a shorter one. Check Samsung’s current policy for the specific model before buying if update longevity is a priority.

Samsung names Gorilla Glass Victus+ for both phones. That is a material specification, not a guarantee against damage; use a case and screen protection appropriate to how you carry the phone.

Gadgets 360 reported an M47 starting price of ₹27,980 in India on 7 October 2026, with listed variants ranging from ₹27,980 to ₹44,999. This is dated tracker information, not a guaranteed Samsung list price. The older M35 launch prices and the newer M47 tracker prices are not a like-for-like snapshot, so subtracting them would not produce a dependable current price difference.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the M47 if the current price works for you and you value the stated six-generation OS and six-year security policy, 45 W charging, or its listed front- and rear-camera configuration.
- Consider the M35 if you find it at a compelling current price and its Exynos 1380 platform, 25 W charging and listed core specifications suit your needs. Its 2024 launch prices are historical, not a guide to today’s deal.
- Compare before paying if price is the deciding factor: match RAM and storage, check live seller listings, and factor in a compatible M47 charger if needed.
