These are retailer-linked snapshot prices, not guaranteed live offers. Check the exact variant and current Amazon India price before buying. On specifications, the F70 Pro offers a higher-resolution Super AMOLED display, OIS on its triple rear-camera setup and faster listed charging; the M17e is the lower-cost option if its current price and configuration suit your budget.
Price difference: what the listed figures do—and do not—tell you
The comparison snapshot lists the M17e at ₹19,999 and the F70 Pro at ₹26,289, both linked to Amazon, for a displayed difference of ₹6,290 with the F70 Pro higher. The snapshot does not identify the RAM and storage configuration attached to either price, so these figures should not be treated as a like-for-like variant comparison or a guaranteed current offer. Verify the model, RAM, storage and live checkout price before deciding. 91mobiles’ comparison snapshot is a third-party listing, not Samsung’s official pricing.

Samsung announced M17e launch prices of ₹13,999 for 4GB/128GB and ₹15,499 for 6GB/128GB in March 2026. Those are historical launch prices, not current offers. Samsung’s F70 Pro product page records an August 3, 2026 launch, but the official sources cited here do not establish a configuration-specific launch price for it.
| Phone and variant | Price figure | What it represents |
|---|---|---|
| Galaxy M17e 5G, 4GB/128GB | ₹13,999 | Samsung’s March 2026 launch price |
| Galaxy M17e 5G, 6GB/128GB | ₹15,499 | Samsung’s March 2026 launch price |

Samsung lists the F70 Pro in 6GB/128GB and 8GB/256GB variants. The M17e launch announcement lists 4GB/128GB and 6GB/128GB variants. Because the snapshot’s prices are not tied to a stated configuration, compare the price of the exact variant you intend to buy rather than assuming the displayed ₹6,290 gap applies to matching storage and memory.

Display: the F70 Pro has the stronger listed specifications
According to 91mobiles, both phones have a 6.7-inch display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The M17e is listed with an IPS LCD at 720 × 1600 resolution; the F70 Pro is listed with a Super AMOLED panel at 1080 × 2340. That is a clear hardware and resolution advantage on paper for the F70 Pro, but these specifications alone are not a hands-on comparison of brightness, color accuracy or outdoor visibility.
Performance: chipset names are known, head-to-head results are not
91mobiles lists the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 in the M17e and the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 in the F70 Pro. Both are listed with a peak CPU frequency of up to 2.4 GHz, but that number by itself does not establish which phone performs better in games or everyday tasks. No reliable head-to-head benchmark result is established in the cited sources, so treat the chipset difference as a specification distinction, not proof of a measured performance lead.

Cameras: OIS and an extra rear module on the F70 Pro
91mobiles lists the M17e with a 50 MP main rear camera and a 2 MP depth camera, plus an 8 MP front camera. For the F70 Pro, it lists a 50 MP main camera, 5 MP ultra-wide camera and 2 MP macro camera, and a 12 MP front camera. Samsung confirms the F70 Pro’s 50+5+2 MP rear-camera configuration and optical image stabilization (OIS) on its official product page.
Those details give the F70 Pro more listed rear-camera modules and manufacturer-confirmed OIS. They do not, by themselves, establish which phone takes better photos: megapixel counts and camera hardware are not substitutes for independent image testing. Samsung also lists 4K video for the F70 Pro; the cited information does not establish a matching M17e video specification for a direct comparison.

Battery and charging: equal listed capacity, different charging rates
Both phones are listed by 91mobiles with a 6,000 mAh battery. Samsung independently specifies the M17e’s battery as 6,000 mAh typical capacity. The comparison lists 25 W charging for the M17e and 45 W for the F70 Pro, so the F70 Pro has the higher stated charging rate. A wattage figure is not a guaranteed charge time; actual charging speed depends on conditions and compatible equipment.
Software support: compare the stated policies and dates
Samsung states that the F70 Pro will receive six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates from its first global launch date. Its product page lists security support through July 31, 2032. Samsung’s M17e product page lists security updates through January 31, 2032. These are the published support details; they do not establish a guaranteed list of future Android version numbers for either model.

Samsung records the M17e launch date as March 17, 2026. Its Newsroom announcement was dated March 18 and said sales would begin March 20. For the F70 Pro, Samsung records an August 3, 2026 launch date. These dates help put the support periods in context; the support end dates above are the dates Samsung lists for the respective products.
Which one should you buy?
Choose the Galaxy F70 Pro if its upgrades matter to you
- You want the higher-resolution, Super AMOLED display listed for the F70 Pro rather than the M17e’s HD+ IPS LCD specification.
- You value OIS and the additional ultra-wide camera in the F70 Pro’s manufacturer-confirmed triple rear-camera setup.
- You prefer its higher listed 45 W charging rate and Samsung’s stated six generations of OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
Consider the Galaxy M17e if the price and variant fit your budget
- You can get the exact M17e RAM/storage configuration you want at a meaningfully lower current price.
- You are comfortable with the listed HD+ IPS LCD display and 25 W charging specification.
- You want one of Samsung’s announced M17e configurations, 4GB/128GB or 6GB/128GB, and its published security support through January 31, 2032.
This is a specification-based choice, not a hands-on verdict. Check the current price for the same RAM/storage tier on both phones; if the F70 Pro’s screen, OIS and charging advantages are worth the verified difference to you, it is the more feature-rich specification choice. If they are not, the M17e may be the more sensible buy at its actual current price.
