The Samsung Galaxy M17e 5G has the stronger documented display refresh rate and longer software-support commitment; the Galaxy F06 5G had lower launch prices. Both are listed with the same camera resolutions and 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD displays. Current Samsung India store listings show M17e prices, but a matching current F06 price could not be confirmed, so the launch-price gap is not a reliable guide to what either costs today.

Which phone has the better display?
The M17e has the higher listed maximum refresh rate: 120Hz compared with 90Hz on the F06. A higher refresh rate can make supported motion and scrolling appear smoother. Both phones are listed with the same 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD size and panel type, so the published specifications do not establish a difference in resolution or overall display quality. Refresh rate alone is not a full display-quality comparison.

Current listed prices
Samsung India store pages list the M17e at ₹18,499 for 4GB/128GB and ₹21,499 for 6GB/128GB. These are observed store listings, which can change; check the product page for the current price, selected variant and delivery availability. The available F06 store information does not establish a comparable current price, and its availability depends on the delivery city. You therefore cannot use the launch-price difference as a current-price comparison.
Are the cameras different?
Samsung lists the same camera resolutions for both: a 50MP and 2MP rear-camera combination and an 8MP front camera. Matching megapixel counts do not prove matching image quality, and the published specifications do not provide a camera test that identifies a winner. Choose between them based on the supported features and real sample images available for the exact models rather than these resolution figures alone.

Which phone will get updates longer?
Samsung states four generations of OS upgrades and four years of security updates for the F06, versus six OS-upgrade generations and six security-update years for the M17e. That gives the M17e the longer stated support commitment. The number of OS generations should not be translated into a specific final-update year without a confirmed schedule.

Which one should you choose?
- Choose the M17e if the higher listed 120Hz refresh rate and longer stated software support matter more to you, and its current price fits your budget.
- Consider the F06 if you find it at a lower current price and are comfortable with its 90Hz maximum refresh rate and shorter stated update commitment.
- Do not choose by camera resolution alone: the listed megapixel combinations match, but those figures do not establish equal results.
