In India, the like-for-like 8 GB / 256 GB comparison puts the OPPO F33 Pro 5G at an announced launch price of ₹40,999 and the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G at a Samsung India store display price of ₹62,999 when checked for this comparison—a displayed difference of ₹22,000. Those prices have different contexts and may have changed. On specifications, the F33 Pro stands out on paper for its 50 MP ultra-wide selfie camera and 7,000 mAh battery; Samsung lists the larger display at 6.7 inches versus OPPO’s 6.57 inches. The available figures do not establish which phone takes better photos or lasts longer in real-world use.
Which is cheaper in India?
For the 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage versions, OPPO announced an India launch price of ₹40,999 for the F33 Pro 5G. Samsung India displayed ₹62,999 as the starting price for the Galaxy A57 5G in the same configuration when checked. The displayed gap is ₹22,000, with the OPPO figure being a launch price and Samsung’s figure a store display price; neither should be treated as a guaranteed current checkout price. Check the seller’s live price, stock, offers and selected configuration before buying. OPPO’s 15 April 2026 announcement and Samsung India’s Galaxy A57 page are the sources for those India figures.

OPPO also announced the F33 Pro 8 GB / 128 GB at ₹37,999. Samsung announced a separate U.S. starting price of $549.99 on 25 March 2026, with U.S. availability from 9 April 2026; it is not comparable to the India prices above. Samsung’s U.S. announcement gives that market-specific price and availability.

Which phone has the better selfie camera?
The F33 Pro has the more distinctive stated selfie-camera specification: OPPO lists a 50 MP ultra-wide front camera with a 100° field of view, optical image stabilization and autofocus. That combination is intended to capture a wide frame and includes stabilization and focusing features, but specifications alone do not establish image quality. The cited sources provide no side-by-side camera testing, so they cannot show which phone produces better photos or video.
How do battery and charging compare?
OPPO specifies a 7,000 mAh battery and 80 W SUPERVOOC wired charging for the F33 Pro. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent endurance or charging-time measurements. The cited Samsung material does not provide a directly comparable A57 battery capacity or charging figure for this comparison, so a numeric head-to-head is not established. Battery capacity alone also cannot predict how long a phone lasts: usage, software, network conditions and other factors affect runtime.

What do the durability ratings mean?
OPPO lists IP69K, IP68 and IP66 ratings, along with MIL-STD-810H, for the F33 Pro. These are separate rating labels, not interchangeable descriptions, and their presence does not establish a comparative durability advantage over the A57. The cited sources do not provide independent side-by-side durability testing for the two phones.

- Consider the F33 Pro if its announced India price, stated ultra-wide selfie-camera features, 7,000 mAh battery or 80 W charging specification best fit your priorities. Verify the current price and configuration before purchase.
- Consider the Galaxy A57 if you want the larger listed display, Samsung’s stated Galaxy A-series software-support commitment, or a device with no external memory-card support but a listed 256 GB configuration.
- Compare your exact regional models before deciding on processor performance, battery life, photo quality or durability. The available specifications do not establish a winner on those real-world measures.
Samsung’s update statement is described in its Galaxy A57 and A37 announcement; OPPO identifies ColorOS 16 and the F33 Pro’s listed hardware in its India launch announcement.
