Where the listed specifications point
Display and performance
The 91mobiles listing gives the Phone 4b a display that is 0.07 inches larger diagonally, with both phones listed at 120 Hz. It also lists different chipsets and maximum clock speeds. Those clock figures alone do not show which phone performs better in everyday use: the available information is not a controlled performance comparison, and no hands-on results are established here.

Storage and software support
The comparison listing shows a 256 GB UFS 3.1 A57 configuration and a 128 GB UFS 2.2 Phone 4b configuration. These are listed configurations, not evidence that either is the only storage option in every market. Samsung says the A57 supports “up to 6x OS upgrades” and up to six years of security and maintenance releases. The available sources do not establish a Phone 4b support term; that absence is not proof that no policy exists.
Samsung’s IP68 rating, with its limits
Samsung identifies the India Galaxy A57 5G as IP68 rated. Its qualification says the rating is based on laboratory submersion in freshwater up to 1.5 meters deep for up to 30 minutes. Samsung does not recommend beach or pool use and warns that resistance can diminish with wear and tear. The rating should not be read as a guarantee against every kind of water exposure or as permanent protection.

Which phone makes more sense?
Consider the Galaxy A57 5G if
- You want a manufacturer-documented rear camera setup that includes OIS, an ultrawide camera, and a separate macro camera.
- Samsung’s stated support commitment of up to six OS upgrades and up to six years of security and maintenance releases matters to you.
- You want an IP68 rating with Samsung’s stated freshwater test conditions and limitations.
Consider the Phone 4b only after verification if
- The listed 6.77-inch display and 6,000 mAh battery appeal to you.
- You have confirmed that the phone is an official model available in your market and that its specifications, support policy, exact variant, and live price match what you need.
On the evidence available here, the A57 is the better-documented choice, not necessarily the better-performing phone. The Phone 4b’s apparent display, battery, and price advantages are reasons to verify the model and live offer—not enough on their own to establish a reliable head-to-head recommendation.
