The Samsung Galaxy A26 5G is the pick on this specification sheet if you want a larger display and microSD expansion; the vivo X300 FE is the more compact, higher-tier-on-paper option, with a faster listed processor, more RAM, higher-resolution camera modules, and faster wired and wireless charging. There is no reliable direct price difference to quote: the available official listings are from different countries and currencies, and Samsung’s Ireland listing is marked out of stock.

Software support information Samsung Ireland lists security updates through 31 March 2031 Reviewed vivo pages list Android 16/OriginOS 6 but do not give a comparable support end date

Specifications vary by region and configuration. The Samsung figures are from its Ireland product/store listing, while vivo’s screen and charging details are from its Singapore specification page. The listed processor and memory make the vivo configuration higher-tier on paper, but these figures are not benchmark results or a real-world speed test. Which phone has the better screen for you?

The A26’s 6.7-inch full-rectangle display is physically larger, which may suit reading, video, and other tasks where screen area matters. Samsung gives the rounded-corner measurement as 6.5 inches, so the diagonal depends on how the display is measured.

The X300 FE is the smaller phone by listed display size, at 6.31 inches, but its specification lists a higher resolution: 2640 × 1216 compared with the A26’s 1080 × 2340. Both listings give a refresh rate reaching 120 Hz; vivo specifies a 1–120 Hz range. These figures do not establish which screen is brighter or easier to see outdoors, because the cited pages do not provide a directly comparable peak-brightness result.

Performance and storage: higher listed tier or more flexibility?

On paper, the X300 FE’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 and 12 GB of RAM place it above the A26 configuration in the cited listings, which show an octa-core CPU with 2.4 GHz and 2.0 GHz speeds and 8 GB of RAM in the 256 GB Ireland store variant. That is a specification comparison only: there is no matched benchmark or hands-on test here to quantify speed, gaming performance, or sustained performance.

The A26 has the practical advantage if you want removable storage. Samsung’s Ireland 256 GB model supports microSD cards up to 2 TB through a hybrid SIM/microSD slot. The cited Singapore vivo listing says expandable ROM is not supported. Verify the exact regional model and SIM arrangement before buying, since configurations may differ.

Camera specifications do not settle image quality

The A26 lists a 50 MP, 8 MP, and 2 MP rear-camera combination and includes optical image stabilization (OIS) in its specification. vivo lists 50 MP, 8 MP, and 50 MP rear cameras for the X300 FE. The higher megapixel count on one module does not, by itself, prove that the vivo takes better photos or video; sensor size, lens, processing, stabilization, and shooting conditions all affect results.

No matched photo or video comparison is available in the cited material. Treat the figures as descriptions of the camera hardware, not a camera-quality verdict.

Battery capacity, charging, and support

vivo lists a 6,500 mAh typical battery, 90 W wired FlashCharge, and 40 W wireless charging for the X300 FE. Samsung lists a 5,000 mAh typical battery for the A26 and says it can provide up to 17 hours of video playback. That playback figure is Samsung’s manufacturer claim, not a controlled comparison with the vivo; nominal capacity and charging wattage alone cannot establish which phone lasts longer in everyday use.

For software-support planning, Samsung Ireland specifies that the A26’s security update period is valid until 31 March 2031. The reviewed vivo pages list Android 16/OriginOS 6 but do not state a comparable security-support end date, so these sources do not establish which phone receives updates for longer.

Price difference: the official listings are not a fair comparison

Samsung Ireland’s product page displays €399 for the 256 GB Galaxy A26 and marks it currently out of stock. vivo Pakistan’s official product page lists the X300 FE at Rs. 269,999. Because these are different markets and currencies, and the Samsung listing is unavailable, the figures do not show a valid price difference or a current price at which both phones can be bought. vivo X300 FE Pakistan listing.

To compare what you would actually pay, check listings for both models in the same country, on the same date, with the same storage capacity and current stock status. The cited pages do not establish a like-for-like local price pair.

Which one should you choose?

  • Choose the Galaxy A26 5G if a larger screen, microSD expansion, or Samsung’s stated Ireland security-update end date are priorities.
  • Choose the vivo X300 FE if you want a smaller display and prefer its higher listed processor and memory configuration, larger nominal battery, faster stated charging, or additional 50 MP rear-camera module.
  • Do not decide on camera quality or daily battery life from these specifications alone. The cited material contains no matched camera shootout or battery test.

Before ordering, confirm the exact local model, storage configuration, supported network bands, warranty, software-support terms, and whether a charger is included. vivo notes that network functionality depends on carrier and regional conditions.
