The four two-module configurations range from 32GB to 96GB, and they use one of two full timing sets: CL28-36-36-96 or CL28-38-38-96.
Trident Z5 Royal Neo DDR5-6000 CL28 specifications
G.SKILL’s announcement lists four capacities. The 32GB and 64GB kits share one timing set; the 48GB and 96GB kits share another. The release does not report performance testing that establishes a real-world speed difference between them.

What the timing numbers mean—and what they do not show
DDR5-6000 identifies the announced data rate, while the timing string gives several memory latency timings. CL28 is the first timing value, but the complete strings differ: the 32GB and 64GB kits are CL28-36-36-96, and the 48GB and 96GB kits are CL28-38-38-96. Comparing kits by “CL28” alone leaves out those other values.

- Includes JEDEC default profile, and AMD EXPO memory overclock profile
- Do not mix memory kits. Memory kits are sold in matched kits that are designed to run together as a set. Mixing memory kits will result in stability issues or system failure.
G.SKILL called the specification “ultra-low latency” and compared it with DDR5-4800 CL40, saying the new specification aimed to offer a more optimized combination on compatible AMD AM5 platforms. That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent benchmark or a measured performance uplift. The release provides no workload results demonstrating that any of the four kits is faster than another.
AMD EXPO and compatibility
G.SKILL says the kits support AMD EXPO (Extended Profile for Overclocking), which lets users enable the memory profile through the motherboard BIOS. EXPO support does not by itself guarantee that a kit will run at its announced specification in every system: compatibility depends on the processor, motherboard, BIOS, and memory configuration. Check the exact kit and platform support before buying or changing BIOS settings.

Availability and announcement scope
G.SKILL said the specifications would begin rolling out to its worldwide distribution partners in August 2024. That was the planned start of distribution, not confirmation of current retailer stock or pricing.
