Yes. The feature offers full-size versions of the cat photos to view and use as wallpapers, and photographer Joshua Waller made them with the new OM SYSTEM PEN. The images show the camera’s animal-detection focus in use on his cat, alongside portraits made with two different lenses.

What camera and lenses made the photos?
Waller made the photographs with the new OM SYSTEM PEN. He reports using the 14–42mm kit lens and an Olympus 45mm f/1.8 lens; the latter is a separate lens, not part of the kit. He tested the camera’s animal-detection focus feature on his own cat.
OM SYSTEM UK lists a 20.4-megapixel effective-pixel 4/3-inch Live MOS sensor, Micro Four Thirds mount, built-in five-axis sensor-shift stabilisation, and 121-point phase-detection autofocus for people and pets. Those are manufacturer specifications, not a promise that every shot of a moving cat will be in focus. OM SYSTEM UK product information.

How the images were finished
Waller says almost all the photographs are JPEGs straight from the camera in a 3:2 aspect ratio. Some received small crops or brightness adjustments in Photoshop. One monochrome image uses the camera’s Mono Film Black and White 1 setting. These are the photographer’s reported choices, not independently reproduced test results.
Captions give examples of settings used in individual photos: 45mm, f/2.8, 1/200s, ISO 200; 45mm, f/1.8, 1/80s, ISO 200; and 42mm, f/5.6, 1/100s, ISO 200. Treat them as examples from these pictures, not universal settings for photographing cats. Shutter speed, focus and exposure depend on the cat’s movement and the available light.
