How much did Foxconn’s revenue beat estimates?
For July through September 2026, Foxconn reported revenue of NT$3.03 trillion. Reuters compared that result with an LSEG SmartEstimate of NT$2.83 trillion, a difference of NT$200 billion. What drove the increase?
Reuters attributed Foxconn’s performance to strong demand related to artificial intelligence. It described the company as Nvidia’s biggest server maker, but did not report Nvidia-specific sales, server order volumes, or the share of revenue generated by AI servers. The available figures therefore show that AI demand was a factor, not how much of the NT$3.03 trillion it accounted for.

Foxconn’s business also extends beyond AI servers. Its press center describes operations spanning smart consumer electronics, cloud and networking, computing, and components and other businesses. Foxconn’s press center lists an October 5 announcement for unaudited September revenue, but the linked announcement is not available here for checking monthly or segment-level figures.
What Foxconn forecast before the quarter ended
On September 5, before the quarter closed on September 30, Foxconn said AI demand and the seasonal peak for ICT products were expected to improve operations. Reuters reproduced the company’s statement: “In the third quarter, as AI demand continues to grow, and ICT products also enter the peak season of the second half of the year, operations are expected to gradually gain momentum.”

Foxconn also said its visibility for the quarter had improved from the previous month and it expected overall performance to outperform market expectations. The company cautioned that global political and economic conditions remained volatile. This was a forward-looking assessment made during the quarter; the NT$3.03 trillion figure is the subsequently reported result. Reuters reported Foxconn’s September 5 outlook.
