What to check before it will fit your kitchen
The manual specifies freestanding countertop use. It says not to install the oven in a cabinet or over a heat-producing appliance, and calls for at least 30 cm of clearance above it and 20 cm between it and adjacent walls, with one side left open. Measure the intended location against those requirements before purchasing; do not assume a built-in space will work.

The available information does not establish the RHMO340’s capacity, external dimensions or cavity dimensions. Confirm those details from the rating plate, a current product listing, or the seller for the exact model rather than borrowing figures from a similarly named appliance. Check the unit’s rating label for its electrical supply requirements.
Cookware and rack rules matter
The manual lists heat-resistant glass as suitable across the cooking modes and microwave-safe plastic for microwave mode only. Cookware labels and the oven’s instructions should both support the intended use; a container being safe in a microwave does not automatically make it suitable for grill or convection heat.

The included metal rack is intended for grill or convection. In combination mode, the manual permits it only with setting C-3. It warns against using the rack with microwave operation because metal can cause arcing. Follow the instructions for the selected mode rather than leaving the rack in the oven by default.

The listed accessories are a glass turntable, turntable ring assembly, turntable shaft, metal rack and instruction manual. The instructions say the turntable and ring must be installed during cooking, and food should sit in suitable cookware on the turntable—not directly on the glass.

Installation and basic safety
The manual warns against heating sealed containers, says foods with non-porous skins should be pierced, and cautions that liquids can become superheated. If materials inside ignite, it says to keep the door closed and switch off and unplug the oven. Read the full instructions before first use and follow their precautions for the specific food and mode.
Warranty and availability are purchase-specific
The instruction booklet carries a 2019 copyright line and states a one-year warranty. Its warranty section describes coverage for goods purchased in Australia or New Zealand, naming Spectrum Brands Australia Pty Ltd for Australian purchases and Spectrum Brands New Zealand Ltd for New Zealand purchases. Those booklet terms do not establish the warranty currently applicable to a new or secondhand unit. Confirm the terms with the seller or the responsible entity for the country, seller and purchase date involved. The booklet also states: “Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, or the CGA.”

The RHMO340 does not appear in the current Australian microwave catalogue listing considered here, which includes other models. That absence alone does not prove the RHMO340 has been discontinued or is unavailable in another country. Verify exact-model stock and obtain the model number in writing before relying on a retailer listing; do not treat RHMO300 or RHMOG34 as interchangeable.

Who should consider the RHMO340?
- It may suit you if you want microwave, grill and convection functions together, have a countertop location that meets the manual’s clearances, and can confirm the exact unit’s dimensions and local warranty.
- Look elsewhere if you need a built-in appliance, cannot leave the specified ventilation space, or want independently verified cooking results, capacity or dimensions before deciding.
- Before paying, confirm exact-model stock, included accessories, electrical requirements, dimensions, seller return terms and warranty coverage for your region.
Verdict: The RHMO340’s documented appeal is its range of cooking modes and preset functions, balanced by meaningful installation and cookware restrictions. The manual is enough to assess those features, but not enough to judge cooking performance or establish whether a particular listing is a good buy. Treat it as a possible fit only after verifying the physical unit and purchase terms.
