How much does Forza Horizon 6 cost on PS5?
The US digital PlayStation Store lists three PS5 editions: $69.99 for Standard, $99.99 for Deluxe and $119.99 for Premium. The listing says “PRE-ORDER – IMMEDIATE PAYMENT REQUIRED,” so a digital preorder is charged when you place it rather than when the game releases.

Standard Edition — $69.99
Standard includes the full game and uses the regular January 26, 2027 release date. It is the straightforward choice if you want the PS5 game without the additional packs and memberships listed with higher editions.
Deluxe Edition — $99.99
Deluxe adds the Welcome Pack and Car Pass to the full game. The listing still gives Deluxe the January 26, 2027 release date, so it does not provide the earlier Premium start date.
Premium Edition — $119.99
Premium includes everything named for Deluxe, plus VIP Membership, Expansion 1, Expansion 2, the Time Attack Car Pack and the Italian Passion Car Pack. Its listed early-access date is January 21, 2027. The publisher’s announcement describes this as five days early, while the Premium store page says “Play 4 days early.” The two descriptions do not match; the unambiguous information is the calendar date of January 21 compared with the January 26 standard launch.
The listing identifies the expansions and car packs but does not establish their individual prices, release timing or detailed contents. Do not assume that a named pack has a particular number of cars or a separate launch date unless the publisher provides those details.

Which PS5 edition makes sense?
- Choose Standard if you only need the base game and do not value the listed add-ons.
- Choose Deluxe if the Welcome Pack and Car Pass are worth the additional $30 over Standard, but you are happy to begin on January 26.
- Choose Premium if you want the earliest listed access on January 21 and want all of the add-ons shown in the Premium listing.
The price difference between Standard and Deluxe is $30, and the difference between Deluxe and Premium is $20 in the US listing. Those comparisons describe the store prices only; they do not assign a separate value to each individual add-on.
When does Forza Horizon 6 come out on PS5?
Standard and Deluxe release on January 26, 2027. Premium owners can play from January 21, 2027, according to the Premium PlayStation Store listing. Use those dates when planning time off, scheduling a download or deciding whether early access justifies the higher edition price.
The dates apply to the PS5 editions described here. Store availability and displayed release times can still be affected by region, account settings or platform operations, so check the countdown and local time shown on your account as launch approaches.

The available information does not specify a separate redemption code or an expiration date.
Is there a physical Forza Horizon 6 PS5 disc?
Yes. Playground Games says the PS5 game will be available on disc through supporting retailers. The announcement does not name a particular retailer and does not establish the disc edition’s price, stock, delivery date or cancellation policy.
| Buying path | What is established | What you must verify |
|---|---|---|
| Digital PlayStation Store | US prices are $69.99, $99.99 and $119.99; payment is immediate; Sony’s digital preorder cancellation rules apply. | Your region’s price, taxes, account eligibility and download status. |
| Physical PS5 disc | A disc release is planned through supporting retailers. | Retailer, price, stock, shipping, payment timing and the retailer’s own cancellation terms. |
Sony’s PlayStation Store policy applies to digital purchases from that store. It does not automatically govern a preorder made from a physical retailer. A retailer may charge at a different time or set different cancellation conditions, so read that retailer’s terms before submitting a disc order.
Can I cancel my PS5 preorder?
For a digital PlayStation Store preorder in the United States, Sony’s support guidance uses two timing windows. In both cases, the main game must not have started downloading or streaming. Preloading counts as downloading, and automatic downloads can begin without a manual download command.

If you ordered more than 14 days before release
You must request cancellation and a refund before the game’s release date. The request remains subject to the no-download condition: if the main game has started downloading or streaming, Sony says the preorder is not eligible under this policy.
If you ordered 14 days or less before release
You may request cancellation within 14 days of placing the preorder, again only if the main game has not started downloading or streaming. This 14-day period is measured from the purchase date, not from the January 26 launch date.
How to submit the request
- Confirm that the purchase was a digital PlayStation Store preorder rather than a disc order from a retailer.
- Check when the preorder was placed and determine which of Sony’s two timing cases applies.
- Check whether the main game has downloaded, preloaded or streamed. Automatic downloads count even if you did not start them yourself.
- Contact PlayStation Support to request the cancellation and refund before the applicable deadline.
- Provide the account and purchase details requested by Support and wait for Sony to determine eligibility under the account’s region and purchase record.
Sony’s guidance is a policy, not an automatic promise of a refund. Eligibility can depend on the account, region, purchase type and actual download status. If the main part of the game has already begun downloading, Sony says you cannot request a refund under this preorder rule.

- Do not preload while deciding. Preloading is treated as downloading for this policy.
- Review automatic-download settings. Sony warns that an enabled automatic download can start without a manual action.
- Record the purchase date. It determines whether you have a pre-release deadline or a 14-day-from-purchase window.
- Contact Support promptly. Waiting until after release, or after a download begins, can remove the option described by Sony.
These precautions apply to the digital store policy only. For a disc preorder, ask the retailer how it handles automatic payment, shipment, cancellation and returns.

Do I need PlayStation Plus?
The PlayStation Store listing says PlayStation Plus is sold separately for online console multiplayer. It is not included in the Standard, Deluxe or Premium prices shown above. The preorder bonus, the base game and the listed edition add-ons are separate from a PlayStation Plus subscription.
How many cars are in Forza Horizon 6?
The official PlayStation Store description advertises “over 550 real-world cars.” That is the publisher and store’s advertised figure, not an independently counted total. Playground Games’ October 8, 2026 announcement also directs readers to its list of 550-plus cars. The figure should therefore be read as a product claim that may be refined as the final roster and live content are documented.
What should you check before placing the order?
- Confirm that the store is set to the country and account you will actually use; the prices above are US digital figures.
- Compare the add-ons in the edition table rather than assuming Deluxe or Premium changes the base release date.
- Choose January 21 only if the Premium price and listed content justify early access for you.
- Remember that all editions receive the Ferrari J50 preorder bonus after the prologue.
- If you might cancel, understand the download restriction before enabling preload or automatic downloads.
- For a disc, verify the specific retailer’s stock, delivery estimate, price and cancellation terms because those details are not established by the publisher announcement.
Bottom line for PS5 preorders
The least expensive US digital option is Standard at $69.99, while Deluxe costs $99.99 and Premium costs $119.99. Standard and Deluxe start January 26, 2027; Premium starts January 21. Every PS5 preorder includes the Ferrari J50 after the prologue. Digital orders are charged immediately, and cancellation depends on the order date plus whether the main game has begun downloading or streaming. A physical disc is confirmed for supporting retailers, but its price and retailer-specific terms must be checked separately.
