Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteThe Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition Xbox Wireless Controller launched with a U.S. preorder MSRP of $89.99, but the available evidence does not confirm a current discount or a live retailer listing for October 7, 2026. A Microsoft Store controller promotion that might seem relevant ended October 1, and it does not establish that this limited-edition model qualified.
Which Forza controller is this?
The likely match is the Xbox Wireless Controller – Limited Edition Forza Horizon 6, announced by Xbox on April 20, 2026. That is distinct from an older Forza Horizon 5 controller, so check the exact product name before comparing prices.

Xbox describes the controller’s bright cyan and lime design as inspired by Forza Horizon 6’s Japan setting and its Touge roads. In the announcement, Xbox product marketing authors Omar Smith and Tristan Munley called it “one of the most vibrant controllers Xbox has ever released”—manufacturer promotional language, not an independent review.

What price did Xbox announce?
Xbox announced a U.S. preorder MSRP of $89.99 for the controller. That is its announcement price from April 2026, not a verified current selling price. Xbox announced the matching headset separately at $134.99; that is a different product and is not a controller price comparison.

Is the controller discounted today?
A Microsoft Store controller collection showed a general $10-off Xbox wireless controller offer for the United States and Canada, valid September 17 through October 1, 2026. The offer has expired, and its terms as surfaced do not show that the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition model was eligible.
The official Xbox product page identifies the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition controller and headset collection, but the available information does not establish a current price, retailer, stock status, or exact-model discount for October 7, 2026. So the claim that this is a pricing mistake or the best Xbox accessory deal today is not verified.

How to check whether a listing is a real deal
Before treating a listing as a discount, compare its details with Xbox’s $89.99 U.S. preorder MSRP and verify all of the following:
Free tools Windows power users keep installed
One-click scans. No signup required.
- Exact model: Confirm the listing names the Forza Horizon 6 Limited Edition controller, not another Forza edition or a bundle.
- Price and date: Check the current checkout price and when the listing was updated. A past social post or expired promotion does not confirm today’s offer.
- Seller and condition: Confirm who is selling it and whether the controller is new, used, refurbished, or open-box.
- Availability and delivery: Check that it is in stock and note the stated delivery date.
- Total cost: Include shipping, tax, and any other fees before comparing the price with MSRP or another retailer’s listing.
Xbox’s announcement directs preorder interest to Xbox.com and local retailers, but no specific current retailer offer is established here. A retailer price below MSRP would be a discount relative to the announced price; without a dated, in-stock exact-model listing and its terms, it cannot be confirmed as a deal today.
