Xbox Wire says to smash 20 sandwiches near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet during Autumn. If you are in that area during the stated season and they still do not appear, there is no documented, confirmed fix to apply.
Check that you’re looking for the right collectible
“Souvenir” could refer to several different Forza Horizon 6 features. The sandwich activity is specifically called the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible. Xbox Wire’s October 8, 2026 announcement places it near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet and says to smash 20 during Autumn. The stated rewards are Festival Playlist completion points and a new Forza LINK reward.

The announcement does not describe the sandwiches as permanent or say that they are available in every season. That distinction matters: an item that is absent outside its announced seasonal condition is not necessarily malfunctioning.

What to check if the sandwiches aren’t visible
- Confirm the activity. Make sure you mean the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible, not a Collection Journal memento, collectible mascot, or Car Meet location.
- Check the season. The announcement specifies Autumn. It does not promise year-round availability or provide a complete schedule of when the activity starts and ends.
- Go to the named area. Look near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet. Xbox Wire does not give coordinates, a more detailed route, or a separate spawn trigger.
- Check whether the Horizon Meets update is installed. Xbox Wire said the update, including its Festival Playlist and Evolving World content, was available to download on October 8, 2026. The announcement does not provide platform-specific instructions for checking installation or refreshing the activity.
If all of those conditions appear to match and the collectibles remain absent, treat it as an unresolved visibility or availability problem. The published information does not identify a cause or confirm a recovery method. It would be misleading to promise that restarting the game, reinstalling it, changing a setting, or buying hardware will make the sandwiches appear.

How the related features differ
| Feature | Where or how it appears | Availability or purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible | Near the 7-Eleven Evolving World Car Meet | Announced as an Autumn activity: smash 20 for Festival Playlist completion points and a Forza LINK reward. |
| Collection Journal | Records digital mementos discovered around Japan | A separate collection feature; it is not the sandwich activity. |
| Car Meets | At three in-game locations | Xbox Wire’s January 22, 2026 interview describes the locations as permanent. That permanence applies to the meet locations, not the sandwiches. |
| Collectible mascots | Distributed around game areas | A separate collectible category that gives a small reward, described in Xbox Wire’s April 8, 2026 preview. |
What “permanent” means here
The available official descriptions attach permanence to the three Car Meet locations, not to the Egg Salad Sandwich Collectible. They describe the Collection Journal and collectible mascots as other features, too. So if you expected to find the sandwiches as permanent souvenirs across Japan, the official description does not support that expectation: it identifies a specific seasonal activity in a specific area.
The seasonal details are time-sensitive. Xbox Wire’s October 8, 2026 announcement is the basis for the Autumn condition and the named location; it does not establish that the activity will remain available after that season or give an exact end date.
