The Kado Thorne quests and rewards Epic has documented belong to Fortnitemares 2023 in Battle Royale, which ended on November 3, 2023. Reload has its own quest rewards, documented separately in Epic’s June 2024 launch coverage. Anyone searching for free Kado Thorne Reload rewards should treat the list below as the verified starting point, not as a current quest list.
Where Kado Thorne fits in Epic’s official coverage
Kado Thorne was part of Chapter 4 Season 4 and appeared in the Fortnitemares Battle Royale content of 2023. Epic’s October 10, 2023 article on the Fortnitemares 2023 Dawns in the Fortnite Battle Royale v26.30 Update describes that event and gives its end time as November 3, 2023 at 2 AM ET. Epic’s August 25, 2023 article on Chapter 4 Season 4, “Last Resort,” places Kado Thorne in that season.

Fortnitemares 2023 quest rewards
The October 10, 2023 article states that individual Fortnitemares quests awarded XP. Beyond XP, the event used three completion thresholds, each unlocking a set of cosmetic rewards. These rewards were Fortnitemares rewards tied to that event, not Reload rewards.

Because these were event-limited, the November 3, 2023 end date applies to them. Their presence in a Reload-related search does not make them available today.

Fortnite Reload’s documented quest rewards
Epic’s June 22, 2024 article “Squad Up for Fortnite Reload” describes the introductory Reload quests. It lists quest completion milestones at three, six and nine quests. The rewards named in that article are:
- Digital Dogfight Contrail
- Pool Cubes Wrap
- NaNa Bath Back Bling
The same article names The Rezzbrella Glider as the reward for a Reload Victory Royale. None of these items is attributed to Kado Thorne in the official source.

Two 2026 Epic posts are the most recent official material on Reload quests and rewards, and neither names Kado Thorne:

Checking current availability
As of October 9, 2026, the official pages reviewed do not show a Kado Thorne quest running in Reload, and they do not list its rewards. If a quest appears in your in-game quest list, use these checks before assuming it is a Kado Thorne reward:

- Confirm the quest’s name and reward against Epic’s own announcement for that date. A reward that appears in a 2023 Fortnitemares post is historical, even if it resurfaces.
- Look for an end date in the quest or event description. Event-limited rewards, such as the November 3, 2023 Fortnitemares cutoff, cannot be earned after that window closes.
- Treat third-party lists that mix Fortnitemares 2023 rewards with Reload rewards as unreliable unless they cite a dated Epic post for each item.

How to keep the two reward sets apart
The clearest way to read this topic is by mode, date and reward type. Fortnitemares Battle Royale in 2023 used 5, 15 and 25 quest thresholds for cosmetic rewards. Fortnite Reload’s introductory quests used 3, 6 and 9 thresholds, with the Pool Cubes Wrap, Digital Dogfight Contrail and NaNa Bath Back Bling. Keeping those separate keeps historical event rewards from being mistaken for something you can earn today.
