He calls it “a bit of Friday afternoon fun,” and that framing matters. It is a personal wishlist, not a ranked buying guide, and it should be read that way.

1. Omega Speedmaster 38mm: the case for a mechanical watch
Dedezade’s reason is fatigue with smartwatch notifications and a wish for the character of a traditional mechanical watch. He points to the refreshed 38mm Speedmaster with a black dial and five-link steel bracelet, and he names Stuff watch specialist Spencer Hart as a reference for that preference.
The feature describes the automatic Calibre 3332 as self-winding, powered by the movement of the wearer’s wrist, and says the chronograph works as a separate stopwatch. Those are the feature’s descriptions of the watch, and the feature does not give a price or current availability for this model.

2. Garmin Cirqa: a tracker without a screen
The Cirqa appeals because Dedezade already uses Garmin products and wants tracking without a display to check. According to Stuff, it records activity, sleep, and heart rate, syncs with Garmin Connect, and offers a claimed battery life of up to 10 days. Stuff also reports that core tracking does not require a subscription.
Battery life is a manufacturer claim as relayed by Stuff. Real-world endurance depends on how much heart-rate and sleep tracking a wearer uses, so treat “up to 10 days” as a ceiling rather than a typical result.

3. KEF LS50 Wireless II: a proper listening room
Dedezade wants something more substantial than the Echo Show in his kitchen. The main draw of the LS50 Wireless II, as the feature presents it, is its active design: the amplifier is built in, so no separate amplifier is needed. Stuff lists AirPlay 2, Google Cast, and HDMI eARC connectivity.
Active speakers reduce the number of boxes on the shelf, but they still need power, a sensible position in the room, and a source device such as a phone, laptop, or TV. The feature does not test sound quality or describe how the speakers perform in a particular room.

4. MasterClass and Hans Zimmer: the course option
This is the one item on the list that is not a gadget. Dedezade imagines learning new skills, such as Japanese or guitar, and says a film-scoring course with Hans Zimmer is tempting. Stuff reports 31 lessons and five hours 40 minutes of recorded instruction.
Course content is the thing you are buying, so the questions are different from those for hardware. Whether the lessons suit a particular learner, what the subscription or purchase terms are, and whether the course is currently offered in your region are all outside what the feature establishes.

5. Porsche Macan GTS Electric: the aspirational pick
The Macan GTS Electric is the most playful entry, and the feature presents it as a dream car rather than a practical purchase. Stuff attributes these figures to Porsche: 0–60 mph in 3.6 seconds with Launch Control; sports air suspension sitting 10 mm lower; optional rear-wheel steering; and 10–80% charging in 21 minutes under optimal fast-charging conditions.
Charging time depends on the charger’s power and the car’s state of charge, and the 21-minute figure applies only to optimal conditions. For a car like this, the practical question is whether you can charge at home or reliably at public chargers, which the feature does not address.

6. Playseat Formula Instinct and Logitech G Pro: the sim-racing rig
Dedezade connects this one to a recent visit to Brands Hatch. He cites the seat’s immersion and comfort, the Logitech wheel’s direct-drive force and Trueforce detail in supported games, and the pedals’ ability to measure braking force. These are the author’s stated attractions; the feature does not report testing this exact combination.
A rig like this is a space decision as much as a purchase. The seat, wheel, and pedals need room for a stable mount, and Trueforce benefits only the games that support it.
What the list does and does not establish
Stuff’s feature gives product descriptions and a handful of manufacturer-attributed figures. It does not give current prices, retailer listings, regional variants, or independent test results. Where a figure appears in this article, it is the figure as reported in the feature, attributed to Stuff or to the manufacturer named beside it, and it should be checked against the maker’s current materials before you rely on it for a purchase.

Turning a wishlist like this into a plan
- Sort each item by what you would actually use it for. A watch, a tracker, speakers, a course, a car, and a sim rig each serve a different routine, so decide which one you want to live with daily.
- Measure the space first. Confirm the room for speakers, the mounting area for a sim rig, and the parking and charging access a car would need.
- Add up the ongoing costs. For the tracker and the course, look for recurring fees; for the car, include charging and insurance; for the speakers and sim rig, budget for any accessories your setup requires.
- Check compatibility with what you already own. Garmin Connect, your phone’s streaming ecosystem, and the games you play all determine whether a purchase fits.
- Set a target date for each item. Ranking the list by when you can realistically afford it turns a wish into a plan without forcing a decision on all six at once.
Dedezade ends his feature by asking readers what is on their own list, and that is a useful place to start. Filtering the six items through your own use and budget will show which ones are worth pursuing and which are better kept as a daydream.
