Where to get the Fora-230 SMG in Stalker 2 Update 2.0
GSC Game World identifies the Fora-230 as a new SMG in its Back to the Zone — Update 2.0 announcement. For the earliest reported purchase route, travel from the Lesser Zone into the Cordon, go to Rookie Village, and speak with Sidorovich. Open his trade menu and look for the Fora-230. Nerd’s Chalk reports that this route does not require finding a hidden stash or a specific world spawn.

The free Update 2.0 was scheduled for August 20, 2026, and GSC said it would be available to all players regardless of edition in its Cost of Hope & Update 2.0 overview.

Which trader sells the Fora-230?

Sportskeeda reports a price of around 13,000 or more Coupons. Treat that as an approximate guide-reported figure, not a fixed price: the sources do not establish that every trader or game state uses the same amount.

- Confirm Update 2.0 is installed. The Fora-230 was introduced with that update, so it is not expected in an earlier build.
- Check access and progression. You need to reach a hub and trader that can offer it; Rostok and Yaniv Station are later alternatives.
- Recheck the trader’s stock. Guides caution that inventory can vary and refresh. The sources do not specify a guaranteed refresh schedule.
Nerd’s Chalk says it found no guaranteed unique Fora-230 location and recommends buying from a trader for reliable acquisition. That is the guide’s conclusion, not an official GSC confirmation of every possible spawn.
