When does Football Manager 27 come out?
Football Manager 27 (FM27) releases globally on 10 November 2026. That date applies to every digital edition: PC/Mac, FM27 Console and FM27 Mobile. The physical PC version also launches on 10 November.

Is Football Manager 27 on Game Pass?
Yes. Game Pass access depends on the edition and subscription tier.
- PC/Mac edition: Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can play FM27 through the Microsoft Store/Xbox PC app.
- Console edition: The official launch announcement lists Game Pass Console subscribers for FM27 Console. The detailed platform information also identifies PC Game Pass and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate access to the Console edition through the Microsoft Store/Xbox PC app.
Game Pass does not turn the mobile edition into a console or PC version. FM27 Mobile is a separate iOS and Android product distributed through Netflix.
What is the FM27 Launch Preview?
The Launch Preview replaces the feature previously called Beta or Advanced Access. It is a pre-launch PC/Mac build for customers who pre-purchase through a SEGA-approved digital retailer.

Timing
The preview is planned for approximately one to two weeks before the 10 November launch. The final release date for the preview had not been set in the official FAQ, so buyers should not treat that window as a guaranteed day.
Who qualifies?
- Choose the PC/Mac edition.
- Pre-purchase from a digital retailer approved by SEGA.
- Use that retailer’s instructions to claim or install the preview when it becomes available.
Console and mobile editions are not included in this PC/Mac pre-purchase preview arrangement. The preview build is intended to be closer to launch quality than earlier early-access builds, but it remains a pre-release version.

Clearer interface and faster navigation
The redesigned interface aims for a more intuitive full-screen experience, smarter navigation and fewer clicks. Community Manager Chris Groves described the approach as: “We’re evolving the current design whilst restoring ideas and behaviours you (our players) value and that worked well in previous editions.”
A more active football world
Cup draws, Transfer Deadline Day and an overhauled news feed are designed to keep managers engaged with events beyond their own club. These systems make the wider competition and transfer landscape more visible during a save.
Match Day Spectacle
Match presentation is being expanded with richer crowds, redesigned stadium elements, weather and lighting variation, seasonal conditions, cutscenes and more detailed character models.

Which FM27 edition should you choose?
PC/Mac
Choose this edition for the broadest storefront choice and access to the Launch Preview when you pre-purchase through an approved digital retailer. It is available on Steam, Epic Games Store and the Xbox PC app, and is included with PC Game Pass or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
Console
Choose FM27 Console if you play on Xbox Series X|S, a supported Xbox handheld device or PS5. Xbox players have the relevant Game Pass routes; the PS5 edition is sold digitally on launch day, while its physical copy arrives on 20 November.
Mobile
Choose FM27 Mobile for iOS or Android. It is distributed exclusively through Netflix and is a separate mobile experience rather than the PC/Mac or Console edition.
