Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute2Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems3Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitchesFluxguard and Wachete both monitor web pages for changes, but they emphasize different workflows. Fluxguard documents text, visual, rendered-DOM and network change analysis, along with filtering and interactive monitoring. Wachete documents whole-page and selected-area monitoring, a broad set of alert channels, file monitoring and integrations. Choose based on what you need to detect and how you want alerts delivered—not on an unverified claim that one is more accurate.
Fluxguard vs. Wachete at a glance
| Decision point | Fluxguard | Wachete |
|---|---|---|
| Change types | Text, visual or pixel, rendered HTML/DOM and network activity, according to its tutorials and FAQ. | Whole-page or selected-area changes; its FAQ describes visual-difference previews for HTML monitoring. See features and FAQ. |
| Dynamic, protected and interactive pages | Documents JavaScript-rendered and authenticated pages, form submissions and click interactions. | Documents dynamic and password-protected pages. |
| Noise controls | CSS and DOM filters, keyword lists and network blocks. | Selected portions, exclusions for frequently changing areas and configurable notification rules. |
| Alerts and integrations | Instant or daily alerts, plus API and webhooks; plan availability varies. | Email, phone notifications, Slack, Teams, Discord, Telegram and daily or weekly summaries; also RSS, Zapier, API, webhooks, apps and browser extensions. |
| History | Version retention varies by plan: its FAQ lists 3 versions on Free, 25 on Periscope and 100 on Telescope. | Up to 12 months of history; numeric charts can cover up to five years. |
| Published plan scale and pricing | USD prices and estimated site counts are published; usage is credit-based and estimates depend on stated assumptions. | The homepage shows page limits, but paid prices and check intervals were displayed as question marks in the reviewed official material. |
These are capabilities described by the vendors, not the results of a common accuracy or reliability benchmark. Neither comparison should be read as a tested-winner verdict.

Choose based on what you need to monitor
Choose Fluxguard when the change itself needs closer analysis
Fluxguard is the better fit to investigate first if you need to distinguish visible pixel changes from text or rendered DOM changes, or want to monitor network activity such as changes to requests. It also documents keyword-based monitoring, discovery of newly added pages, authenticated pages, form submissions and click-driven interactions. Its FAQ says visual and DOM checks are ordinarily secondary analyses after a primary strategy records a new version, although users can change the primary strategy. Confirm that the strategy and controls match your target workflow in the Fluxguard FAQ and tutorials.

Choose Wachete when alert destinations or non-web-page checks matter
Wachete is worth evaluating when you need alerts in a particular channel, RSS or Zapier integration, spreadsheet downloads, mobile apps, or monitoring beyond rendered web-page content. Its feature page also describes PDF, Word and Excel monitoring, HTTPS certificate, response-time and header checks, and combining values from multiple pages. Those capabilities can make it a closer workflow match when the monitored item is a document, endpoint condition or numeric value rather than only a visual page change.

- A BETTER READING EXPERIENCE: For busy office workers, EasyRead mode provides a more paper-like experience for when viewing lengthy documents
For a selected region or noisy page, compare the filtering model
Both vendors describe ways to focus monitoring and reduce irrelevant changes. Fluxguard lists CSS and DOM filters, keyword lists and network blocks; Wachete describes selecting portions and excluding frequently changing areas. If a page has rotating timestamps, ads or frequently updated navigation, the practical question is whether your chosen service can exclude those exact elements without hiding the change you care about.
How dynamic and login-protected pages differ
Both services describe support for dynamic or protected pages, but the documented interaction depth is not identical. Fluxguard specifically lists authenticated-page monitoring, form tracking and click interactions. Wachete lists dynamic and password-protected pages. If the information appears only after a login, script execution, form submission or button click, verify that the relevant action can be represented in the service’s setup before relying on alerts. Vendor capability descriptions do not establish that every site or authentication flow will work.
Alerts, history and integrations
Alert workflow
Fluxguard describes instant or daily alert options, with availability depending on plan, as well as APIs and webhooks. Wachete lists email, phone notifications, Slack, Teams, Discord and Telegram, plus daily or weekly email summaries. It also documents RSS, Zapier, REST API and webhooks. If an alert must reach an operational workflow, compare the destination, cadence and integration limits you actually need rather than counting integrations alone.

Do not treat version count and time history as the same measure
Fluxguard’s FAQ gives version-count examples for particular tiers: 3 on Free, 25 on Periscope and 100 on Telescope. Wachete describes up to 12 months of history and numeric charts extending up to five years. These are different retention descriptions—version count versus a time horizon—so they are not directly interchangeable. Confirm current limits and whether the history covers the data type you plan to monitor.
Plans and published prices
Fluxguard
Fluxguard’s pricing page lists self-service plans in USD. The site-count figures are estimates, not guaranteed caps: its estimate assumes approximately 10 pages per site crawled once daily, and actual use can vary because billing is credit-based. The page says paid plans begin with a seven-day trial. Check the live Fluxguard pricing page for the current price, feature allocation and credit assumptions before subscribing.
| Fluxguard plan | Listed price | Estimated sites per month |
|---|---|---|
| Free (Gyroscope) | $0 | 3 |
| Standard (Periscope) | $110/month | 25 |
| Plus (Telescope) | $220/month | 50 |
| Premium (Horoscope) | $550/month | 100 |
The estimates above use the pricing page’s approximate assumption of ten pages per site crawled daily; they are not an apples-to-apples page allowance against Wachete’s page counts.

Wachete
Wachete’s homepage says its free plan monitors five static pages and zero dynamic pages, and displays paid-tier limits of 50, 100, 500 and 3,000 static pages. It says the free tier requires no credit card and paid subscriptions include a seven-day trial. Paid prices and check intervals were not readable in the reviewed official page, so check the live Wachete homepage and pricing summary rather than relying on an estimate from another site.

There is no common benchmark in the vendors’ materials reviewed here. To choose for your own pages, try a small set that represents the page behaviors you care about and assess the complete alert workflow:
- Add representative targets: a mostly static page, a JavaScript-rendered page, a page with a frequently changing region, and—if relevant—a protected page or a document.
- Choose the detection mode or selected region that corresponds to the change you need to catch.
- Exclude known noise, such as changing timestamps or unrelated page regions, without excluding the target content.
- Make a controlled change where practical, then check what the service records and whether its alert identifies the intended change.
- Verify the alert destination and cadence, along with retention, page limits, plan features and expected usage at your intended check frequency.
This is a way to evaluate fit for your own targets, not evidence that either service performs better overall.

ScreenshotNeo is an alternative to try first for screenshot capture
Fluxguard and Wachete are change-monitoring services. If your immediate need is to capture a clean screenshot or PDF of a page—rather than keep a change history—try ScreenshotNeo first. It is a website screenshot API and MCP server for developers; it is not a replacement for the monitoring workflows described above.
For a direct capture, use its documented GET endpoint. See the ScreenshotNeo API documentation for parameters and response details:
