The manufacturer lists bake, classic bake, fan bake, fan forced, fan grill, grill and pastry bake. That identifies the available modes, but does not establish how evenly or quickly the oven cooks in each one.

Catalytic liners and removable parts
The product materials identify self-cleaning catalytic liners, removable door parts and removable shelf runners. Catalytic liners are not the same as a pyrolytic self-cleaning cycle; do not infer pyrolytic cleaning from the specifications of a related oven.

CHOICE has a review page for the exact OB60SC7CEX1 and describes Kim Gilmour as its senior project officer who manages product tests. However, the expert rating and detailed results are behind CHOICE membership access. The manufacturer’s 2023 quick reference gives exterior dimensions of 598mm high, 597mm wide and 565mm deep. Those measurements are not a substitute for the required cabinet opening, clearances or electrical installation conditions. Fisher & Paykel’s planning sheet covers the oven family and includes the CEX1 model; use the applicable installation documentation and have a qualified installer confirm the fit and electrical requirements before purchase.

Check the exact model and market before buying
Confirm that a listing is for the full OB60SC7CEX1 model, not a similar-looking suffix. Fisher & Paykel’s current New Zealand listing for OB60SC7CEX4 is a related later variant; its existence does not establish that the CEX4 is identical to the CEX1, nor that the CEX1 is currently stocked. If comparing suffixes, compare the official product and installation documents for each one rather than assuming specifications carry over.
Warranty terms also depend on territory and purchase conditions. Fisher & Paykel UK lists five years of parts-and-labour cover for UK purchases of this model, subject to exclusions and conditions. This is not a worldwide warranty promise; buyers elsewhere should check the terms that apply locally.
