The published figures and feature list are manufacturer specifications, not results from hands-on testing for this review. Check the installation fit before buying
Fisher & Paykel documents do not give one identical set of overall dimensions. The Australian product page and the New Zealand Quick Reference Guide list 857–917 mm high, 597 mm wide, and 574 mm deep. A February 2026 model-family planning guide lists 857–917 mm high, 598 mm wide, and 580 mm deep for this model and related models. The guide says dimensions can vary with measurement conventions and installation context, including whether front panels or side seals are included. Do not treat those figures as interchangeable or assume a model-family planning sheet is the final fit authority.

Use the installation guide for the exact Australian model and have a qualified installer check the cavity and services against local requirements. The February 2026 planning guide calls for at least 600 mm cavity width and 580 mm depth, and notes hard-wired power and a 3/4-inch (20 mm) BSP water inlet with specified pressure limits. Confirm those requirements against the exact local installation documentation before arranging cabinetry, plumbing, or electrical work.

The manufacturer lists eight programs: Auto, Eco, Glassware, Heavy, Light, Medium, Rinse, and 60 min. Four modifiers are available: Dry+, Half-load, Intensive, and Sanitise. A floor-light cycle indicator, internal light, keylock, rinse-aid indicator, and delay start of up to 12 hours are also listed.

Rack layout and clearances
The rack system includes an adjustable upper basket, fold-down tines, a full-width cutlery and utensil tray, wine-glass supports, and a cutlery basket. Fisher & Paykel lists upper-basket clearance for round plates up to 220 mm with the cutlery tray fitted, or up to 280 mm with it removed; the lower basket accommodates plates up to 325 mm. These stated clearances are useful when checking your own dinnerware, but do not by themselves establish how easily a particular load will fit.
Drying and sanitising claims
Fisher & Paykel says the dishwasher combines automatic door opening with fan-assisted drying: the door opens at the end of a cycle to release steam, while an air curtain directs steam away from adjacent benchtops. These are manufacturer-described features, not independently measured comparative results.

The company says the Sanitise modifier is certified to NSF/ANSI Standard 184 and kills 99.9% of bacteria in the final rinse. Treat this as a claim about the specified modifier and rinse, not a guarantee about every load or a general health outcome.

SmartHQ features listed for the model include alerts, remote operation, monitoring, and software updates. The Australian product page states connected-product cybersecurity updates until 04/03/2028. Because that date can be read differently across date conventions, confirm its intended meaning and the current support status with Fisher & Paykel when assessing long-term connected use.

Published noise, energy and water figures
Fisher & Paykel’s Australian product page lists 42 dBA noise emissions, annual energy use of 206 kWh, and water use of 11.1 L per wash. It also lists a 4.5-star energy rating and a 5.5-star WELS water rating. These are published specifications and local ratings, not measurements made for this review. CHOICE lists the same claimed annual energy and per-cycle water figures.

Appliances Online displayed four reviews with a 4.5 average, while Winning Appliances displayed eight customer reviews. Visible comments include praise for perceived cleaning, drying, quiet operation, and capacity, alongside mentions of rack adjustment, touch-control sensitivity, and difficulty setting up the app. These are individual retailer-hosted comments, not a representative owner survey or controlled product test; they can suggest questions to investigate but cannot establish typical performance.
