Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsIf FireShot’s full-page screenshot has blank spaces or image placeholders, scroll through the page first, wait for the images to appear, and then capture the entire page. FireShot support recommends scrolling to the bottom before retrying when a page has not finished loading. If the images still do not appear in the saved capture, check the page’s scrolling behavior and document the setup before reporting the problem.
Why lazy-loaded images can be missing
Lazy loading postpones fetching or displaying some off-screen content until it is needed, often when a visitor scrolls toward it. If a screenshot is taken before an image has rendered, the capture may contain a placeholder or blank area instead of the image. That is a plausible explanation for missing images, not proof that every FireShot capture failure has the same cause. MDN explains lazy loading.

First distinguish an image that is absent from the live page from one that is visible in the page but missing from the screenshot. If it has not appeared on the page, give it time and trigger loading by scrolling. If it is visible before capture but absent from the output, the issue may involve capture or page-scrolling behavior instead.
Try this scroll-and-capture sequence
- Open the page and let its initial load settle.
- Scroll down gradually through the content you want to capture. Pause where images are still placeholders or blank so the page has time to load them.
- Check that the images have actually appeared in the live page.
- In FireShot, choose Capture entire page and save the result. FireShot lists full-page, visible-area, and selected-area capture options on its product page.
- Inspect the saved image or PDF for remaining gaps. If only a distinct scrolling region is affected, try capturing that region separately; a complex layout may still prevent a clean result.
FireShot’s support guidance specifically recommends scrolling to the bottom before starting a full-page capture when the page has not finished loading. See Capture entire page fail and Screen capture does not capture the entire webpage.
#1 Best Overall
Choose the capture mode that matches the problem
| Capture mode | What it captures | When to try it |
|---|---|---|
| Entire page | The full webpage, including content below the viewport. | Use after scrolling through the page and confirming the images have appeared. |
| Visible area | The current browser viewport. | Useful for checking whether the images are visible in the area currently on screen. |
| Selected area | A chosen portion of the page. | Try when the problem is confined to a particular region or scrolling area. |
These modes capture different amounts of the page; changing modes does not itself make an image load. FireShot describes the available capture modes on its official product page.
If scrolling does not fix the capture
Check for nested scrolling areas
Some pages scroll content inside a panel rather than moving the whole document. Scroll within the affected area and confirm its images appear before trying a capture of that region. FireShot support reports include cases involving scrolling content, but an individual report does not establish a universal defect or fix. See Can’t capture scrolling screenshot.
Check fixed headers and other page behavior
A fixed header or another page-specific layout can complicate a scrolling screenshot. If the page images are loaded but the output is still incomplete or misaligned, note what the page does while scrolling rather than assuming lazy loading is the cause. FireShot has a support report about a scrolling page with a fixed header: Unable to capture scrolling page with fixed header.

Send a reproducible support report
If the problem persists, provide the page URL if it is shareable, browser and operating-system versions, FireShot version, the capture command you used, and whether the images appeared on the live page before capture. Include the steps that reproduce the missing content and, if possible, the saved result. These details help separate an image-loading issue from a scrolling or capture failure. FireShot provides support through its official site.

For a capture you can request through an API, ScreenshotNeo takes a webpage URL and returns an image or PDF. Its capture workflow can accept consent banners and remove known consent platforms, newsletter popups, and chat widgets before capture. It reports page outcomes and billing status in response headers; bot checks, blank pages, timeouts, failed loads, and cache hits are not billed. It also offers an MCP server for AI agents and other MCP clients.
For example, this cURL request captures a page as WebP; replace the URL with the page you need and supply your API key. See the ScreenshotNeo documentation for request options and response details.
