On a Galaxy device, go to Settings > Samsung account > Forgot password or don’t have an account? > Forgot ID. You can also use Samsung’s account-retrieval page in a browser. Samsung may show only a masked hint, not the full address.
Find your ID in Galaxy Settings
- Open Settings on your Galaxy phone or tablet and tap Samsung account.
- Choose Forgot password or don’t have an account?, then tap Forgot ID.
- Follow the option shown: review an email ID hint, or enter a recovery email address or phone number already associated with the account.
- Complete the requested identity checks and verification step, if prompted.
- Review the account hint. If you recognize it, use the sign-in option to continue.
Samsung’s exact labels and available recovery choices can vary by region, device interface, and the recovery details configured on the account. Its Saudi Arabia support instructions describe these device and recovery-contact routes. Samsung Support

Find the ID without your Galaxy device
Open Samsung’s account retrieval or sign-in page in a browser and choose the ID-finding option. Samsung US describes entering the requested information; its sign-in guidance specifies name and date of birth for the Find ID route. If Samsung finds a matching account, it may display only part of the ID. Samsung US Support

Samsung’s US pages also mention Google credentials or QR-code sign-in as possible alternatives only when those methods were previously set up; they are not guaranteed ID-recovery methods.

What Samsung may show—and what it needs
Samsung may mask part of the email address with asterisks for privacy. Look for a recognizable hint rather than expecting the full address to appear. Recovery by phone or email requires a number or address already associated with the account and accessible to you; an unrelated or newly added contact cannot identify it. The flow may request a verification code.
Forgot ID and forgot password are different tasks. Use Forgot ID or Find ID when you need to identify the email or account identifier. Choose password reset only if you have also forgotten the password.

If you cannot complete recovery
- Try another recovery option offered in Samsung’s flow, if one is available and you can access it.
- If you can identify the account but cannot sign in, use the separate password-recovery process.
- If the available ID-recovery methods do not work, contact Samsung Support. Samsung UK specifically advises contacting Customer Support when you no longer have access to either the email address or phone number used for the account; that guidance is stated for the UK. Samsung UK Support
