From its floor, continue through stone corridors and a concrete stairwell; the open threshold beyond leads toward the Research Team and the UNDERPASS area.
Follow the route from the Evacuation Zone laundromat
This walkthrough route is part of the main-story quest “Recursions and Iterations,” when the objective is “Find the Team Below the Sinkhole.” The turns are easiest to follow in sequence:

Pass the laundromat sign and enter the laundromat in the Evacuation Zone.

Go to the stairs behind the laundromat and descend.

Drop into the large, open vertical chamber.

Continue from the chamber floor to Underpass

At the bottom of the chamber, follow the stone corridors.

Continue along the long corridor toward its open threshold.

When the objective changes to “Locate the Research Team,” proceed through the threshold and step onto the walkway overlooking the new area.

If you are still in the laundromat, look for the stairs behind it rather than searching for a chamber entrance in the front room.

If you have reached the corridors but not the chamber, continue farther into the building until the route opens into the large vertical space.

If you have reached the chamber floor, take the stone corridors and concrete stairwell onward; the route to Underpass continues beyond the chamber.
