Felix Mobile’s Unlimited+ plan has an advertised maximum speed cap of 80Mbps, twice the 40Mbps cap on Unlimited. In Felix’s current listing, Unlimited+ costs AU$50 per month compared with AU$40 for Unlimited—a AU$10 monthly difference. That doubles the plan’s speed ceiling, not necessarily the speed you will experience in practice.
What changes between Felix Unlimited and Unlimited+?
Felix’s current plan page lists the following ongoing prices and maximum speed caps:

| Plan | Advertised maximum speed cap | Listed ongoing price |
|---|---|---|
| Unlimited | 40Mbps | AU$40 per month |
| Unlimited+ | 80Mbps | AU$50 per month |
The AU$10 monthly difference is calculated from Felix’s listed AU$50 and AU$40 prices. Felix describes both plans as monthly, with no lock-in contract. These are Felix’s advertised caps and listed prices, not results from independent speed testing. Felix’s current plan listing

No. The 80Mbps figure is the plan’s advertised maximum cap; it is not a guarantee that a customer will consistently reach that speed or see twice the real-world performance of the 40Mbps plan. Felix says actual speeds vary with the device, location, network congestion and coverage. Felix’s explanation of its speed caps

Felix positions Unlimited for everyday mobile activities and says Unlimited+ is intended to enable faster downloads of larger files, apps and movies. That is the provider’s guidance, not an independent benchmark. The clearest stated reason to pay more is wanting a higher advertised ceiling for large downloads, provided the device and local network can support it.
Check 5G compatibility and coverage before choosing Unlimited+
Felix says Unlimited+ requires a 5G-compatible device in a Felix 5G coverage area. Having a compatible phone by itself does not establish that 5G coverage is available where you use it, or that you will receive the 80Mbps cap. Check your device and Felix’s coverage information before switching. Felix places its service within Vodafone network coverage in Australia. Felix’s terms and conditions

Which plan makes more sense?
Choose Unlimited if
- AU$40 per month fits your budget and Felix’s 40Mbps cap suits your everyday mobile use.
- You do not have a 5G-compatible device or do not have Felix 5G coverage where you need the service.
Consider Unlimited+ if
- You want the higher 80Mbps advertised cap, especially for downloading larger files, apps or movies.
- You have a 5G-compatible device and Felix 5G coverage where you use the service.
- The AU$10 monthly premium over Unlimited is worthwhile to you even though actual speeds vary.
Keep the introductory offer separate from the ongoing price
Felix’s current listing displays an offer of AU$20 per month for three months for eligible new customers on the 40Mbps Unlimited plan, followed by the listed AU$40 monthly price. Eligibility and offer conditions apply. This introductory offer is not the ongoing price, and it is listed for Unlimited rather than Unlimited+. Check Felix’s current offer and eligibility conditions

Usage limits and conditions to check
Felix describes these plans as mobile services for use in Australia within Vodafone coverage, not as substitutes for home internet. Its terms also limit tethering to personal devices.
