FC 27 Champions Finals use a 15-match format, but the weekly start and end times reported by guides do not agree. Check the event countdown in Ultimate Team for the active week’s schedule. You can qualify by earning Champions Qualification Points (CQP) in Rivals or Squad Battles; Division 6 is not required. Champions rewards can include Coins, CQP and Champions Tokens, which you can spend on eligible items in the Champions Token Store.
What time does FUT Champs start and end in FC 27?
There is no reliable single weekly start and end time in the available published schedule information. A Radio Times guide published on 24 September 2026 reports that FUT Champs runs from 8 a.m. Thursday to 8 a.m. Tuesday, with the first event starting on a Friday, but the passage does not specify a timezone. FIFAUTeam’s FC 27 schedule instead lists Champions/Challengers on Fridays at 08:00. EA’s Champions help page explains the competition but does not publish recurring weekly hours. These claims do not reconcile, so do not assume a timezone or apply either schedule to the current event.

Use the countdown or event timer in-game to check that week’s actual start and end. FIFAUTeam’s calendar describes Champions as a weekly event running from October 2026 to September 2027 and says unfinished Finals rewards arrive when the event ends; treat that calendar as general third-party context, not a substitute for the active in-game timer.

How to qualify for Ultimate Team Champions
Earn Champions Qualification Points through Rivals or Squad Battles, then use the available qualification route for Champions. EA says every Rivals division contributes CQP, with higher divisions earning it faster. Division 6 is not a requirement: EA’s launch update says, “The Division 6 requirement for Champions qualification has been removed.” EA does not state a universal CQP threshold on its help page, so check the current in-game qualification screen rather than relying on an unconfirmed fixed target.

How many matches are in Champions Finals?
EA says Champions Finals consist of 15 matches. Play during the event shown in-game and aim for as many wins as possible; the active competition progress screen is the place to check its reward track.

For matchmaking, EA says the game considers location (for the Game Data Center), current Form, and platform and cross-play settings. Form starts at zero, rises by one for a win and falls by one for a loss. Cross-play is limited to the same platform generation; Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 are excluded from cross-play.

What rewards can you earn from Champions?
EA lists Coins, CQP and Champions Tokens among possible Champions rewards, but directs players to the live in-game view for exact event rewards. Check the active competition’s progress and rewards screen for the current event’s payout.
