SNK’s press index does identify a Tokyo Revengers collaboration teaser, a separate crossover announcement that may be behind some of the speculation.
Is Tekken 8’s Reina coming to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves?
There is no confirmation of Reina in the official SNK material cited here. SNK’s Season 3 announcement names the October and December fighters only as “mystery fighter,” without identifying either as Reina. SNK’s September 9, 2026 press index entry is for a Tokyo Revengers collaboration teaser, not a Tekken 8 announcement.

That distinction matters: an unannounced slot leaves room for speculation, but it is not evidence that a particular character has been teased. Unless SNK publishes a new announcement naming Reina, treat the claim as unconfirmed. The official announcement and press index are SNK’s Season 3 announcement and SNK’s 2026 press index.

SNK announced that Season 3 would begin July 23, 2026, with monthly character and content updates. The announced lineup is:

SNK describes the season as monthly updates that can include characters, new stages, and other content. The publisher also cautions that release schedules may change, so check its Season 3 announcement for updates rather than treating the initial calendar as a guarantee.
How to get the game and its DLC on PS5
Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves launched April 24, 2025. SNK lists PS5 and PS4 among its console platforms and offers console versions in physical and digital formats. The game is also available digitally on Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store. SNK says network access is required for all content.

SNK says characters that were previously exclusive to a season pass are now available for individual purchase. What PS5 buyers should verify before choosing an edition
- Already own the base game? Check whether the fighter or pass you want can be purchased separately before buying a bundle.
- Want a physical copy? SNK lists a physical Special Edition with the base game and Season Pass 1. For a PS4 disc upgrade, your PS5 must have a disc drive.
- Comparing digital bundles? Read the live regional store listing: the documented US Legend and Revenge editions include different season passes.
- Expecting a particular release date? SNK’s monthly schedule is subject to change; use its latest announcement for timing.
