VideoCardz reported that a Shenzhen-based seller listed a replica RTX 4090 motherboard on Goofish for 350 RMB, approximately $52. The seller described it as non-functional and intended for parts or display—not as a working graphics card. The reported listing is not proof of a genuine NVIDIA GPU, and its current availability has not been established.
What VideoCardz reported about the listing
In a report published October 11, 2026, VideoCardz said the Goofish listing used the seller label “NVIDIA GTX4090-24G” and advertised a motherboard with a replica 24GB GPU package. That wording is attributed to the listing as reported by VideoCardz; it is not NVIDIA’s product name or confirmation that the board contains a genuine GPU. VideoCardz’s report

The reported price was 350 RMB, which VideoCardz described as approximately $52. That conversion is the report’s approximate figure, not a fixed or current exchange rate. VideoCardz also said the listing had at least 27 comments and 187 favorites at publication. Those were time-sensitive listing counts, not evidence of completed sales or present demand.

VideoCardz described the item as a non-functional board without a cooling system. The seller reportedly presented it for spare parts, repairs, board swaps, display, or use as inventory filler, and reportedly did not accept returns or exchanges. The report does not establish that the board can be repaired, that it contains working memory, or that it can operate as a graphics card.

NVIDIA’s specifications describe the genuine product, not the reported Goofish item. They do not show that the replica board has a functioning GPU or memory, NVIDIA authorization, or RTX 4090 performance. NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4090 specifications
What the reported visual differences can—and cannot—show
VideoCardz credited VIK-on with observing bluish compound around the counterfeit package’s die and a lighter, nearly yellow substrate, compared with gray compound on genuine RTX 4090 processors. The report also said counterfeit memory packages had markings resembling Micron’s. VideoCardz cautioned that the package differences are difficult to recognize without a genuine comparison chip. These observations are not a validated checklist or a conclusive home test.

- TORX FAN 5.0-Fan blades linked by ring arcs and a fan cowl work together to stabilize and maintain high-pressure airflow.
- Copper Baseplate-Heat from the GPU and memory modules is captured by a copper baseplate and then rapidly transferred to Core Pipes.
- Core Pipe-Precision-machined heat pipes ensure max contact and spread heat along the full length of the heatsink.
- Airflow Control-Sections of different heatsink fins disrupt unwanted airflow harmonics and reduce noise.
The report did not include independent laboratory analysis, a verified diagnostic procedure, or testing of a purchased board. A resemblance in package markings or a visual difference alone cannot establish whether a particular card is genuine or functional.
Is the $52 listing still available?
VideoCardz’s report documents a listing and seller claims at the time of publication; it does not establish whether the post remains live or whether the item sold. The Goofish listing and VIK-on’s underlying post were not independently inspected for this account, so the price, terms, activity counts, and identification observations should be understood as reported by VideoCardz, not independently verified.
