The Exynos 2400 is a 10-core Samsung mobile processor used in some Galaxy S24 and S24+ configurations. Samsung identifies its Xclipse 940 GPU as based on AMD RDNA 3 and advertises hardware-accelerated ray tracing. Published benchmark results are tied to particular Galaxy S24 devices and test versions, so they are useful reference points—not a universal score for every Exynos 2400 phone.

Exynos 2400 specifications

UL’s device record for the Samsung Galaxy S24 with Exynos 2400 lists this CPU and GPU configuration. It describes a tested handset rather than a complete independent silicon datasheet.

Component Configuration Source and qualification
CPU 10 cores: 1× Arm Cortex-X4 at 3.2 GHz; 2× Cortex-A720 at 2.9 GHz; 3× Cortex-A720 at 2.6 GHz; 4× Cortex-A520 at 1.95 GHz UL device record for Galaxy S24 (Exynos 2400)
GPU Xclipse 940, based on AMD RDNA 3 Samsung’s product description
Ray tracing Hardware-accelerated ray tracing Feature claim from Samsung
Display support Samsung says the chip supports 4K at 120 Hz Chip capability claim; this does not mean every phone using it has a 4K 120 Hz panel
Operating system in device record Android 14 Listed for UL’s Galaxy S24 record; not a claim about every current software installation

Samsung Semiconductor describes the GPU as “built on AMD RDNA™ 3 architecture to make gaming more immersive at every turn.” That is the manufacturer’s product positioning, not independent evidence of gaming performance. Samsung Exynos 2400 product page

Galaxy S24 and S24+ benchmark results

Notebookcheck’s benchmark tables report the following results for its tested Galaxy S24 and S24+ handsets. The memory configurations are included because these are device results, not isolated chip measurements.

How to interpret the scores

The small differences between the two phones do not establish that one Exynos 2400 implementation is inherently faster. Results can vary with handset cooling, firmware, ambient conditions, benchmark version, run-to-run variation, and device or memory configuration. A single score should not be treated as a guarantee for another phone—or even every run on the same model.

  • US Model. Compatible with Most GSM and CDMA Carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T, MetroPCS, etc. Will Also work with CDMA Carriers Such as Verizon, Straight Talk.
  • Compare the same benchmark version and workload rather than mixing results from different tests.
  • Use comparable handset classes and software states.
  • For gaming or heavy workloads, sustained performance and thermal behavior matter alongside a short peak benchmark.
  • Check the exact phone variant and market; Galaxy S24-family chipsets are not the same in every region.

The cited results do not provide a controlled Exynos 2400-versus-Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 test set, so they cannot support an unqualified cross-chip winner.

Which Galaxy S24 models use Exynos 2400?

Samsung identifies the S24 family platform as Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400, meaning the processor depends on the market and model configuration. Confirm the chipset for the exact regional phone before using benchmark results to compare listings. Samsung’s first-quarter 2026 interim report gives the family platform context. Galaxy S24 FE uses a different variant

The Galaxy S24 FE is specified with Exynos 2400e, not the exact Exynos 2400. Samsung’s US newsroom described it as an “Exynos 2400e series chipset.” Treat the FE as a related but distinct product when checking specifications or benchmarks. Samsung Galaxy S24 FE announcement
