What the differences mean in use
CPU work
The Exynos 1680’s listed Cortex-A720 and Cortex-A520 cores are newer designs than the Dimensity 7300 Max’s Cortex-A78 and Cortex-A55 cores. The published Geekbench results also favor Exynos in both single-core and multi-core scores. That points to an advantage in these CPU tests, but does not establish how much faster one complete phone will feel in a particular app.

Graphics and gaming
The chips use different GPUs: Samsung’s Xclipse 550, based on AMD RDNA 3, versus the Mali-G615 MC2 listed for the Dimensity. 91mobiles lists LPDDR5X support for Exynos 1680 and LPDDR5 for Dimensity 7300 Max. Samsung states that the Exynos 1680 supports up to 19.6 TOPS for on-device AI; a comparable Dimensity 7300 Max figure is not established by the cited comparison. These specifications alone do not show how much memory a particular handset includes or how well its AI features perform in practice.

Which phone should you choose?
A processor comparison cannot decide between two phones on its own. 91mobiles associates the Exynos 1680 with the Samsung Galaxy A57 5G and the Dimensity 7300 Max with the realme 16 Pro, but regional variants and current listings should be checked before relying on those pairings. Compare the exact model sold in your region, then weigh its price, software support, thermals, memory configuration and the features you care about.
